Prem-I-AirMidi DehumidifierJust bought this for a walk in wardrobe so will report back on it`s effectiveness. So far very impressed with how quiet it is. Barely audible. Have only rated just now for quietness until I know how good/bad it is.

BionaireBWM5080I previously owned BCM 1250 but the fan was too noisy to run overnight. This model is essentially a kettle with an open lid. You hear boiling water, but it's more quiet than a fan. Both models cost 29.99 at Argos but this model has a higher mist output and holds more water. Argos' 2003 catalog no longer has it listed, so this is the last of it's stock. The high st ken branch had 17 left cat 415 7746.

AmcorHD3000Hthe noise level is more than acceptable, fits nicely into a small corner ,the heater is a nice warm breeze not been running long enough yet to tell if the house will become a lot less damp as it was so damp there was mould on walls and roof and windows are saturated daily even after drying them off they are soaking again day after but the controls tell you the humidity it was rated at 89 degrees and 3 hours later it is 69 degrees

BionaireBWM5700I have suffered from Dry Eye's for a number of years, since buying this Humidifier I have not had to use Eye medication, so it is working wonders for me and one does get use to the sound of it.

BionaireBWM5080I’d never used a warm air humidifier before, but this one seems to work pretty well. I bought it a week ago and within days of using it, a cough that I’ve had for years seems to be much better and my general wellbeing seems to have improved. Overall, the instruction manual is user-friendly and the humidifier itself is pretty easy to assemble. If the tank is full, the humidifier will last all night (which should alleviate night-time coughing fits.) Recently though, I’ve noticed that the humidifier cuts out within 5 minutes of switching it on. I’ve figured out that this is due to there not being enough water in the water tray under the heating element. To prevent this, make sure that there’s enough water in the tray (it should be about two-thirds full) before you switch it on. This can take a good 5 minutes.

Some other tips include: clean the humidifier regularly (I clean it after every use) and de-scale the heating element once weekly (just like a kettle - it collects loads of limescale.)

Overall, it’s a really good package at a good price. Hope this helps anybody thinking of buying one of these!

BionaireWarm Mist HumidifierGood whilst it works - much better with filtered water to prevent limescale. Typically only lasts 6 months in continuous operation.

BionaireBWM5700Owned for just over a year. Humidity control no longer working. Boils the water so sounds like a kettle while it's on.

However if you have children (or indeed adults) that suffer from coughs & colds @ night then it does help relieve the suffering!

AmcorDehumidifier and Air PurifierBought from argos, quick delivery...after trying to get dehumidifiers from loads on places online (John lewis, homebase etc)...switched it on per instructions and guess what?

Nothing, the water tank full indicator is on...and the door is closed as it should be.......

ridiuclous.

Will be sending it back to argos (who delivered very fast, thank you).

So Amcor...if you sell these things...make sure they work first!!!
