| POLTI | 2400 | I use this mainly for cleaning carpets. It is a very good product and easy to use. It may be expensive, but I have tried cheaper steamers and they are not worth the effort. This is money well spent.

| KARCHER | K1105 | Every home should have one of these pressurised steam cleaners. It is brilliant around the home for cleaning. It brings carpets up lovely. The best bit about it for me is the iron. I have never managed to complete my ironing so quickly and it is that good that you only need iron one side. Absolutely worth every penny.

| ELECTROLUX | Envirosteamer Z350A. | This little teapot sized steamer is fantasic.
A great cleaning machine for its size, good on tiles, grout, windows etc. Not so good on fridge door seals, you have to clean them at least three times, but still very good, like it a lot.

| MORPHY RICHARDS | 70501 | I purchased a Grime Buster in April this year, and I use it all the time.I have the ironing accesory,and get through the ironing in half the time.The attachment for upholstery works really well,as it removed face paints (following a children"s party) from my cream fabric sofa.I steam clean my carpets,floors,toilets(brilliant around the hinges of the toilet seat)etc. I have not used it on the car yet.I don"t worry about spillages,because the steamer removes them.The only down side for me,is that you have to wait a while before you can refill it.I still wouldn"t be without it.

The manual is short to digest, but possibly too short for a new user to this type of product. I could smell the cleanness of the house. I even use it to clean the carpet, though it was a time consuming task.

| MORPHY RICHARDS | 70501 | I have recently purchased and used one of these "grime busters" and to be honest all I can recommend is dont bother, all it seems to remove is grime that could easily be wiped of with a damp cloth anyway, any limescale or ingrained grime takes so much time to remove and all you seem to get is a room full of steam. I have not tried it outside on car engines or wheels etc but I got it to mainly clean taps, showers etc, I suppose there is a possibility mine is faulty but it all seems to work as it should (apart from the handle trigger sticking and a nozzle falling out!) steam cleaner I would suggest you try one of the other available models or hire one first to see if its worth bothering, hope some of this helps, cheers, ted.

| ELECTROLUX | Z382A | The fundamental problem with this cleaner is the operating handle ,which requires you to place constant pressure with your thumb in order to produce the steam. The product in itself is fine and does all that is required of it but this design fault makes it arduous to use.
I would not recommend it to any one ,my last cleaner had a squeeze trigger which is much more user friendly.
