10,000 Dice Game Question?
I have read the rules of 10,000. I would like to know how many points for 5 of a kind on a single roll (ie 5 4's onthe first roll) Also, there is scoring for 3 of a kind how much for 4 of a kind?

Rules for 10,000
There can be as many players as you wish. Use 6 dice. Each player needs 500 to come out. The 1 is 100 points. The 5 is 50 points. Three of a kind is 100 times the face value except three 1s is 1000. 1,2,3,4,5,6 is 1500 points. Three pairs are 1500. 6 of a kind is 10,000. You may stop playing at any time unless you throw 3 of a kind in which case you must roll one more time and get a 1 or a 5 or another score. The first player to reach 10,000 EXACTLY wins. (You can't go over so it gets a little dicey if you get to 9950 for example to throw only 1 5 and no other scoring dice.

ten thousand
all of this listings are wrong my family has been playing this game for over 20yrs on first roll if u roll 3of a kind you dont have to roll again and if u roll in one roll 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 its only 1200 and if you roll 3 pairs its only 1000 and its not the first person to ten thousand wins its who ever goes past 10000 is out first and every one after gets 1 last turn oo yeah and if u roll 3 ones in one roll its 1000 and if u roll any ones after its an other 1000 till u pick up all dice again and if u roll in one roll 3of a kind and u chose to roll again if u get the same #that adds 100 to your total and u have to get 1000 to get on the board if u roll all six 1s in on roll thats 10000 but if u roll all six of any other its that times 1000

10000
I was taught a different variation of this game 20 years back. You play with 5 dice. 1's are worth 100 points. 5's are worth 50 points. 3-of-a-kind is the 3-of-a-kind number you rolled times 100 except for ones (e.g you rolled 3 6's. 6 X 100= 600). If you roll 3 1's you get 1000 points. Each additional one rolled on subsequent rolls is only worth 100. Each additional number (that is not a one) you roll of your 3-of-a-kind number is only worth 100 points until you roll all 5 dice again. On your first turn (and until you have "come out") you must roll 3-of-a-kind in your first roll in order to have a second roll, otherwise your turn is over. Your second (and any subsequent rolls during that turn) must bring your total up to 500 points to "come out"(to begin scoring) or your turn is over. Once you have "come out" any roll with a 1, or a 5, or a 3-of-a-kind or more or any combination of these is a scoring roll. You have 2 "freebie" rolls per turn (after you have "come out"). You can stop any time during these rolls and add the points you rolled to your total or you can "risk it". If you "risk it" you must roll points on every subsequent roll or you lose ALL the points for that turn. You may stop at any time while "risking it", except when all 5 dice are scoring dice. If all five dice are scoring dice you must roll again. Five-of-a-kind of 1's in one roll is 10000, ends that person's turn, and wins the game unless someone else (in their one remaining turn) can roll and beat that person in points (this usually involves a LOT of "risking it" rolls). Five-of-a-kind of any other number is that number times one thousand (e.g. 5 X 1000= 5000) . 12345 or 23456 in one roll is worth 1200 points and you must roll again. Game play starts with the person who rolls the most points in one roll (using all of the dice) and proceeds clockwise (next player to roll is to the left). When rolling on freebie or risking it rolls you can choose to roll all the dice, some of the scoring and all of the non-scoring dice, or just all of the non-scoring dice. For example, you get 1,1,5,3,6 you have to roll the 3 die and the 6 die. You may also roll either of the ones or the five die as well as the 3 and 6 dice. If you roll one of your scoring dice, the points for that die are not added to your total amount for that turn. There is one exception: If all five dice are scoring dice you roll all dice again and add that to the total of the 5 dice. You continue to add the points until the person stops rolling (you would then add the points to the player's total) or (if on a risking it roll) the person rolls no scoring dice (at which point you would add 0 points to the player's total).

Ten Thousand Dice Game
We used to play with ten die ( I hope that's right ). My mom called to ask the rules and I just can't remember. Did anyone else out there play with ten and if so can you help me with the rules for that? It was basically the same as with 5 but the rules I read didn't ring a bell. If anyone ever played with ten and can help me out it would be appreciated.
