HP hires consulting chief with familiar name

No Arizona senator, John W. McCain, 46, has held high positions at Capgemini, EDS and iEnergizer.

Hewlett-Packard on Friday said it has hired a new head for its consulting and integration division. John W. McCain, formerly CEO of iEnergizer, a privately held business processing company, joined the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company as senior vice present of the consulting and integration division.

The 46-year-old McCain, who has earlier held top positions at Capgemini and EDS, will report to Steve Smith, senior vice president of HP services, the PC maker said in a statement.
