Description:
With Memo++ you can manage all your memos in folders and subfolders just like you do with files on your desktop computer (i.e. in an "explorer"-like manner).

If you like the build-in Memo Pad application and store a lot of memos on your device, Memo++ provides an easy way to organize them and turns your Memo Pad into a valuable text database.

This may be especially interesting for Programmers who use the Memo Pad as a source code editor (like Forth- or PocketC- users) or people, who heavily depend on quick access to text-based information (like physicians or technical professionals).

You can read, edit, create, delete, search, cut, copy and paste Memos and Folders wherever you like.

Memo++ uses a Multi-item-Clipboard in which you can comfortably cut or copy folders or memos to place them somewhere else.

Features:
- Comfortably store (the title of) your Memos in folders and subfolders
- Rapidly access your folders by a Tree view popup list
- Simply create, read, edit and delete your Memos from within Memo++
- Easily cut, copy and paste folders and Memos via a Multi-Item-Clipboard
- Uses the standard Memo Pad application database, but does not replace it

Update Description:
v1.1 (August 25, 2002):
- Faster initialization when starting the program
- New tree view list with expandable and inflatable folders
- New database update function
- Alert screen for 'Cut' and a Menu function for reactivation of previously deactivated alerts
- Category 'not filed' imports correctly now
- 'Private' memos cannot be accessed when system security is set to 'hide' or 'mask'
- Some minor bug fixes and functions (such as progress bars)

I like this program and I'm fully satisfied now. I had got some problems with czech letters but author recompiled program for me and now is it OK. Thanks!

The new version is much better, but I prefer the old way of navigating trees. The new tree command entails more steps, thus is less simple and less intuitive.

Idea's good but on my Clie T625C the fonts are big and pixilated and ugly. Not one for hi-res displays.

Reasonable application but with some snags: There appears to be no 'Security' setting as in the normal Palm memopad so you can't hide sensitive records. It is also easy to leave the menu setting on 'Cut' or 'Delete' and you can then accidentally delete an important record. However the worst aspect of this software is that it appears to be a bit of a con. It is on this site as Freeware but when you actually download it you find out that it expires in July. Look in its 'About' screen and you will then notice that it's actually Shareware. This strikes me as a bit of sharp practice. If you are going to buy a new memo application you may as well go straight for QuickMemo which is a far superior product with colour, drag and drop etc.

I tried this. Interesting concept, but I couldn't get it to work. It kept flickering when redrawing, and I couldn't manage my folders. And clicking on the menubar opens the Main folder automatically. Also, I had to install their version of PToolBox, which screwed up some of my other programs, eventually requiring a hard reset.
