Namco Hometek Inc. has released new renders, screenshots and a pack of movies from Tales of Legendia, showcasing several characters (Chloe, Moses, Will, Norma, Senel Coolidge, Shirley Fennes, Grune and Jay) from this action game, scheduled for February 2006, for PS2. Tales of Legendia promises fantastic 3D graphics, dynamic battle scenes, an emotionally-charged storyline, as well as a unique cast of characters designed by Kazuto Nakazawa, the internationally renowned Japanese artist acclaimed for his amazing animation sequences in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1".

Microsoft today announced that Wik: Fable of Souls is now available for download from Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360. Developed by Reflexive Entertainment, the adventure game features seven different play modes (three of which have multiplayer functionality) and more than 120 jaw-dropping levels, enchanting atmospheric music, stunning effects, superb graphics and a unique play mechanic that centers around the main character, Wik, swinging around the world by his tongue like a cross between Tarzan and a frog catching a fly. Polish company Play sent us the first screenshots from Funny Racer, a 3D fun game for young kids, featuring 3 completely defferent track, 4 cars and nice colorful graphics.

Just Flight sent us a new batch of screenshots from Lancaster, illustrating this new expansion for Flight Simulator in the works at Aeroplane Heaven. The screens showcase the Havilland Mosquito, developed to the same exacting level of detail as the Lancaster.

Microsoft today announced the start of its fourth annual international student competition, the Imagine Cup, the global final for which will take place in Delhi, India, during August 2006. The competition pits teams of students from across the UK and the rest of the world against each other in six invitationals, to win glory, a share of the $125,000 total prize fund and the chance to kick-start their careers.

The Adventure Company today released screenshots from The Sacred Rings (Aura 2), the sequel to Aura: Fate of the Ages, for PC. Check the press release for the storyline and main features. The Sacred Rings is developed by Streko-Graphics and should be released this winter.

Frogster Interactive has released a small patch for Neverend, updating to v1.1 the German version of the fantasy RPG developed by Mayhem Studios. The game will be released on PC, in English-speaking territories during February 2006.

There is a new patch for the German version of Keepsake, bringing the adventure game developed by Wicked Studios to v1.2. Keepsake tells the story of Lydia as she searches for her missing friend, Celeste. Starting on the first day of school, Lydia finds the halls empty and her friend nowhere to be found, the only trace is a keepsake she gave her best friend some 8 years ago. As she holds it, strange images from Celeste‘s life begin to fill her mind. A German playable demo of Keepsake is located here.

Electronic Arts today released lots of screens from the Xbox 360, Xbox and PSP versions of Fight Night Round 3, together with an Xbox 360 trailer in Quicktime format. Check the screens and download the trailer.

Ubisoft has released the first trailer for Splinter Cell 4, the rumored subtitle Double Agent for the next chapter in the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series. Barbarian Invasion, the expansion of Rome: Total War developed by Creative Assembly, is now updated to v1.6 (press 'read more' for changelog). Spanning the years 364AD to 476AD, the expansion offers the chance to play as one of the Barbarian factions (including the Vandals, Saxons and Huns) and take revenge against the Roman Empire, or as the Western and Eastern Roman empires attempting to drive back the Barbarians. Creative Assembly has released a new patch for Rome Total War, bringing their strategy game to v1.5. The update includes several bugfixes, gameplay tweaks, and more (check full article for changelog).

Michigan-Based Mythopoea Games today announced that the commercial version of Phoenix Racing will be released on December 31st, 2005. The bronze membership is still absolutely free. Featuring three never-before-seen tracks for the bronze (free) players, even more cars and tracks will be available for Silver and Gold members at only $3.00 and $5.00 U.S. dollars a month respectively.

DreamCatcher Games today announced they will release a Collector's Edition of their RPG game, Dungeon Lords on January 27, 2006. In addition to all of the latest updates, The Dungeon Lords Collector's Edition will include new quests, spells, effects, monsters and amazing new heraldries and character customizations.
