Subject: Other things to take

One of the first things I pack is a 15' extension cord and a power strip - both of which can take 220v - and plug adapters for the various countries I might go to. Too many times there are no outlets where I need them in the hotel rooms (especially overseas) and the power strip allows me to recharge all the battery operated stuff I carry. An APC teleadapt is also great on planes.

Because I go on overseas business trips I also use my 40 gig iPod as a back up HD and add an iSight to chat with the family.

The new Mighty Mouse is also a blessing, as is the PowerMate from Griffin as I can sit on a plane for hours fixing up old family pics that I have scanned into the PB. Bose headsets also help on long flights (the iPod is not all backup).
