Yesterday, Cyber Genetic Studios has released their Half-Life 2 mod Goldeneye: Source which is a modification based on the popular RARE shooter Goldeneye 007 which was released for the Nintendo 64. The first alpha version features 8 Weapons, 4 maps, 3 Character models and 3 Gameplay modes. The file is now available from our download archives. The mod has to be installed into the SourceMods directory of Steam. Visit the official forums for help and more information.

The third patch of Singles 2: Triple Trouble has been released, bringing this sequel to v1.3 (thanks: The Patches Scrolls).

We have an unofficial patch for Dungeon Lords bringing to v1.4 the English version of this 3D fantasy RPG designed, written and developed by award-winning computer game author, D.W. Bradley ("Wizards & Warriors" and three of the legendary "Wizardry" titles). Don't forget to grab the demo if you haven't done so already.

Super Furious Software has issued a new patch for their first title, Cellblock Squadrons, bringing this 3D space combat game to v2.2. In this game, as a convicted anti-government rebel, you are forced to repay your debt to society by flying fighter missions against an invading alien force - with each successful mission you are one step closer to freedom. Cellblock Squadrons features massive battles against alien capital ships where you and up to 99 computer controlled wingmen take on some of the most dangerous ships this side of Alpha Centuri. The game also offers an advanced AI, 5 different ships, each with unique attributes and abilities, such as shields, overpowered weapons, and teleportation, over 100 randomized levels and over 40 different ship types.

SEGA has released several character art from Sonic Riders, a new game developed by Sonic Team from Tokyo for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. Sonic Riders features Sonic and friends being challenged to a Worldwide Grand Prix by Dr. Eggman. They must glide on air boards, performing tricks and stunts over wide-open terrain. Sonic Riders will be available during winter 2006.

The latest version of San Andreas gtaTournament is now locally mirrored, giving you the chance to play this multiplayer mod for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (thanks: Jan Schütze) - details can be found on the official website. Players4Players.com is reporting that Bethesda Softworks has actually finished The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for PC, but the game was delayed because it is prepared for Xbox 360.

Sega released a new trailer from Full Auto, showcasing this game developed by Pseudo Interactive. Full Auto will offer ten play modes, including a 60-event career, extensive multiplayer support via split-screen, and more.

Near Death Studios, Inc. announced the release of a one month free trial client of Meridian 59: Evolution, the newest, free expansion to Meridian 59. The trial server will run from December 15th, 2005 to January 15th, 2006 - it includes the latest graphics update, the mouselook feature, rebindable keys, and more. Ubisoft revealed Heroes of Might and Magic V, the game in the works at Nival Interactive (Blitzkrieg, Silent Storm, Etherlords), has been delayed to March 2006 (thanks: Blues). Heroes of Might and Magic V will offer a wealth of innovations such as a highly immersive scenario, a variety of appealing factions, modern 3D graphics, a revolutionary tactical combat system, and a story-based campaign mode.

As a Christmas gift, Intermediaware has released for free Space Race, a fast and fun 3D-Racing Game where you control a glider through a 3D tunnel. Aim of the game is to collect as much rings as you can to get points. This is important because the game is based on an online highscore table, so you're competing again players from all over the world and only the 10 bests are supposed to get an entry in the Hall Of Fame. But getting a lot of points isn't that easy: from time to time you have to avoid some weights, because if you collect them your glider slows down for some time. On the other side, you should collect those Nitropacks to get Turbo-Speed for a short time period.

Blizzard has released another bonus map for Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne called "Bomber Command". Word is: "Warring Marines have taken over Icecrown Glacier. Command your bomber force to destroy your opponent's town while scrambling to defend your own.".
