Dicom Station - Introduction
The DD DICOM CD STATION is a cost-effective, turnkey solution for importing and exporting removable media (CD-R, DVD-R) to and from your DICOM network. It features DD DICOM software
that imports and exports medical images by following Part 10 of the DICOM 3.0 standard. The Station then
creates a custom CD-R or DVD-R with an embedded DICOM VIEWER. Thousands of dollars in film, space
and labour will be saved while employing a perfect tool for marketing your hospital or private imaging center.

The real power of the DD DICOM CD STATION is in its ability to automatically create custom-made
CD-Rs and DVD-Rs.
Once the data to be exported is selected, the software will create a volume containing:

Data (selected patients, studies, series and/or images) |

Permanent disc labeling (including your facility's logo, patient(s) name and comments) |
| 3. |
Viewing software (in addition to standard DICOM data, DD DICOM software allows user to use RSVS or EFilm lite viewing software embedded onto the disk created). Volumes exported by the DD DICOM CD STATION can be read by any DICOM 3.0 compliant viewer, import station, etc…on any PC or laptop with a ROM drive. |
