TICA is best viewed with
Netscape Navigator 3 (or higher) or
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 (or higher).
The default font is Verdana,
which may or may not be installed on your system.
It is recommened that you set a high number of screen colours.
Further information is given below.
Most pages in TICA should be fine in most browsers but
those involving any interaction (e.g. quiz pages,
game viewers and the game index) use JavaScript
and require a capable browser such as
Netscape Navigator 3 (or higher) or
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 (or higher).
Even if you have one of the above browsers you may still need
to enable JavaScipt if, for some reason, it has been
turned off.
The default font for TICA pages is Verdana (see the figure below).

If this font is not installed on your PC or Mac it can be obtained free from
Microsoft
(the last time I looked it was
here).
Most of the pictures in TICA (e.g. of players) are in JPEG format
and contain many more than 256 colours (8 bits).
They will look better if you can set your screen colour resolution to
16 bits (high) or 24 bits (true colour).
