Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today released four new
screenshots from SingStar Rocks!, a game developed exclusively for PlayStation 2. The game features 30 fully licensed tracks from Nirvana, Rolling Stones, Blur, Hole, Stereophonics and many others. Check the press release for more details.

SEGA Europe today announced that a new website for OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is now live featuring lots of goodies like wallpapers in various formats, including PSP. The game is developed by Sumo Digital and features 15 fully licensed Ferrari models, including the all-new F430 and the Superamerica, 30 stages and a fresh new mission structure, a license mode and online play with up to 6 players going head-to-head.

Video game publisher KOEI announced that Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends will be available in Europe on February 10th 2006. Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends is an expansion disc that can be played without the original Dynasty Warriors 5 (DW5). It features more than 18 untold stories in "Legend Mode," an expanded "Xtreme Mode" for up to two players, and an "Edit Mode" with 20,000 possible character combinations. Ubisoft released a new trailer from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent, offering footage from the previous movies with additional action scenes (thanks: Roel Bartstra). This time, Sam Fisher is a double agent - to stop a devastating terrorist attack, he must infiltrate a vicious terrorist group and destroy it from within. The game will feature dual objectives to fulfil (NSA government agents and terrorists will each want you to accomplish opposing tasks at the same time), a branching storyline with multiple endings, missions from all over the world (from Asia to Africa to the heart of the US), new authentic gadgets, and more. Splinter Cell Double Agent is scheduled for this September, for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and GC.

Konami released a new trailer from Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for PlayStation 2, showcasing this massively enhanced version of the Snake Eater title. A new camera system has been incorporated allowing players to view the action from virtually any angle, and also features versions of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 titles as originally created for the now defunct MSX2 format, chronicling the genesis of Metal Gear and available for the first time since their original release. Konami created new online modes, such as 'Sneaking Missions', 'Capture Missions', 'Rescue Missions', 'Death Matches' and 'Team Death Matches', which will allow up to eight players to battle against each other in real-time. These missions will be set within key locations from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and in new areas such as Small Forest, the Kill House and the Abolition Factory.

Stardock has launched a pre-order promotion surrounding the release of its upcoming sequel Galactic Civilizations II. 2K Games has announced that the official 24: The Game website is now live, offering screenshots, trailers and details about this upcoming PS2 action title. This action adventure game based on the popular TV show lets you take control and live a brand new day in the life of Jack Bauer and the Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit. 24: The Game will hit the store shelves on February 24th.

Aspyr Media, Inc. announced that Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, the game developed by Neversoft Entertainment, is now available for the PC for $39.99. For the first time ever, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland gives players the freedom to experience continuous skating and BMX biking action without leaving the game or waiting for load times as they explore and choose missions in a massive, living Los Angeles skate world.
