Eidos unveiled that Commandos Strike Force, the next installment in the Commandos series developed by Pyro Studio, will be released on April 4th in the US (thanks: Blues). The game features three different Commandos characters with different gameplay styles, three linked campaigns (Norway, Russia and France), open maps allowing objectives to be achieved in many different ways, a variety of multiplayer modes up to 8 players, and more. Commandos Strike Force will be available in Europe on March 17th, 2006 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC in all European territories.

Electronic Arts announced that Black, the latest game developed by Criterion Software, has been approved for manufacturing and will ship on February 28th, 2006, for the PS2 and Xbox. BLACK is a tactical squad that operates under the cloak of complete anonymity and deniability to protect the US from threats foreign and domestic. It answers to no one, allowing it to carry out brutal and overt operations around the globe. THQ has announced that Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue has shipped to retail stores, exclusively for the Nintendo DS. id Software and Activision, Inc. have teamed with Universal Studios Home Entertainment to include a playable demo of DOOM 3 for Xbox as bonus content on the Unrated Extended Edition DVD release of Doom. The DOOM 3 demo features two single-player and two multi-player levels, featuring both Co-Op and Deathmatch Xbox Live online game service enabled modes.

Union Entertainment and Top Cow Productions announced a long-term deal by which Union got the exclusive right to develop multiple video game titles based on Top Cow’s library of comic book properties. In addition, Union and Top Cow will partner to create new properties that will be developed as comics, video games and feature films. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
