Ubisoft sent us new Far Cry Instincts Predator screenshots, illustrating how the game takes advantage of Xbox 360’s multi-core next-generation engine. Scheduled for launch this Spring, Far Cry Instincts Predator will feature both Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter and an enhanced version of the original Far Cry Instincts game.

Codemasters sent us new screenshots from RF Online, showcasing all three factions: Accretia, Bellato and Cora (press 'read more' for details about these factions). RF Online is set to launch in late February 2006 and will be published and operated in the U.S. and Europe by Codemasters Online Gaming.

Majesco Entertainment Company announced that Backbone Entertainment is working on MechAssault: Phantom War, the first handheld installment of the popular series scheduled to ship to stores later this year, exclusively for Nintendo DS. Players assume the role of a MechWarrior, an elite fighter trained to control the ultimate war machine of the 32nd century... the BattleMech. Liquid Games anounced the June 2006 release of Fruit Machine Mania for the PlayStation 2 and PC, a compilation of slot machine-inspired games with the gambling elements removed. The game features six exciting and diverse machines, which the player unlocks in sequence by building up points through gameplay. Check these screenshots and the press release for more details.

D3 Publisher of Europe announced that PQ: Practical Intelligence Quotient will be released during April 2006 for the Sony PSP, with a MRRP of £24.99. Developed by Nowproduction of Osaka, PQ: Practical Intelligence uses the PSP system's Infrastructure Mode, allowing players to post their PQ score on the worldwide ranking site to see how they rank against other players around the world (press 'read more' for details).

Nobilis announced that Kuon for the PlayStation 2 will be launched in the UK on April 14th, priced £29.99. This is a special edition for Europe with modifications on the puzzle-game for more fun, Dolby Pro Logic 11 sound and a dual language option, which allows you to choose your voice over, allowing for deeper immersion into the Japanese setting time period. Releasing these screenshots, Empire Interactive announced that FlatOut 2 for PlayStation2, Xbox and PC will be launched during May. Powered by the enhanced Crash True game engine, FlatOut 2 will offer a interaction between cars and environments, a more advanced scoring system, an improved launch mechanic, 12 all new crazy events, and more. The game also features support for up to eight players online with Xbox Live or PC and 6 players with PlayStation 2 Online all with voice communication. Check the press release for more details.

Atari announced that Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, the game developed by The Collective, has shipped to retail stores in Europe for PS2, Xbox, and PC. Set in the city of New Radius, the game offers a world where freedom of expression is suppressed and graffiti has been outlawed by a tyrannical government. You play Trane (voiced by the hip-hop artist Talib Kweli), a graffer who must use his talents in order to expose an oppressive mayor and rid the city of his stranglehold on New Radius. We have a new trailer from TOCA Race Driver 3 which shows the car damage engine from the next chapter of the series scheduled for February 24th, for PS2, Xbox and PC. The game will offer more than 100 individual championships covering 35 different racing disciplines, new licensed circuits from around the world (including Avignon and Istanbul from the DTM 2005 season championship), and improved car physics - now tyre temperature, car weight, dirt buildup on the rubber, tyre-wear, engine temperature and radiator efficiency have a major impact on gameplay. The Pro Career mode features seven different career paths, each specializing in an individual motor sport discipline including GT, Off Road, Touring Cars, Historic, Open Wheel, Rally and Oval. Alternatively, players can jump straight into World Tour mode and experience some of the world’s most powerful cars and see those tires screech under full power in this fast fix of race gaming. Via DSFanboy we have come across a hilarious promo shown at last years Tokyo Game Show. The promo involves Phoenix Wright and his adversary Edgeworth, from the game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, in a trial about the game. We won't reveal too much, check it out for yourselves! We have come across a video, dating back to October 2005, of someone comparing the GP2x, PlayStation Poirtable and Nintendo DS screens. Ubisoft announced that Drakengard 2, the role-playing action sequel developed by Cavia, Inc and released in Japan last June, is now available in stores throughout North America for the suggested retail price of $39.99. Drakengard 2 features a unique fantasy world of knights and dragons with intense hack and slash swordplay, melee combat, and a mix of ground and aerial battles that takes place 18 years after the original. Ubisoft has released the third video developer diary for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, showing off the Integrated Warfighter System, a complex combination of cutting-edge technologies that transforms an individual soldier into the ultimate fighting force. IWS combines advanced weapons systems, satellite communication devices and enhanced survivability into one fully integrated combat system. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is scheduled for March 9th (Xbox 360 and Xbox) and March 30th (PC).

Atlus U.S.A., Inc. sent us a batch of screenshots from Yggdra Union, a strategy role-playing game scheduled for release in the fall of 2006, exclusively for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The game features strategic gameplay with decks of "Tactical Cards", over 30 attack, defense, and support skills, as well as character design by manga artist Satoko Kiyuzuki and card design by Sunaho Tobe, character designer of Riviera: The Promised Land.
