August 19 - 22, 1999 at Camp Mountaineer
All scouts in Mountaineer Area Council that are at least 13 years old, a First Class Scout, and are filling a leadership position in the troop are invited to attend the Junior Leader Training Conference from August 19 to 22 at Camp Mountaineer. This conference will stress two areas of benefit to area troops: (1) Scoutcraft skills and how they can be taught to other members of the troop and patrol, and (2) the skills of leadership that will make junior leaders more effective in their jobs.
The JLT will be directed by Jack Rush, Bill Hall, and Bob Sapp, all Scouters in Mountaineer Area Council.
