In order to build the MechCommander 2 Viewer, you must first install the February 2006 release of DirectX
Microsoft has released the source code of MechCommander 2, the sequel developed by Day 1 Studios (thanks: Shacknews). "This is the Shared Source release for MechCommander 2. This release contains all of the source code and source assets required to build MechCommander 2. This release can be used with the Microsoft XNA Build March 2006 CTP".
