• Please save the cardboard exterior box that the chess box comes in for repackaging and return shipping. Also, please save the wrapping that the pieces come in for repackaging.
• The chess set is constructed on top of two 4' x 8' hotel risers set to 18" (ideal height). The risers should be skirted for aesthetic purposes. The risers should be placed so that they form an 8 foot x 8 foot square. Please note, virtually all hotels and event venues will provide risers free of charge.
• The black and white tiles are placed on the board with double sided tape (enclosed in box). The best way to adhere the pieces to the riser is to first lay them all out on the board without tape. Next, adhere one row or column at a time by running one long strip of tape along the entire length of the row or column. Two people then flip the attached pieces over and adhere them to the risers.

• When laying the pieces, make certain that the bottom right piece is always white (as shown in the graphic). The pieces are set up as shown in the graphic.
