Breaking NewsPolice Look for Suspect of Morning Bombing of Manhattan's Barclay's BankAired February 11, 2000 - 6:45 a.m. ETTHIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. JOHN DEFTERIOS, CNN ANCHOR: Almost exactly two hours ago, we had an explosion in Lower Manhattan, on Wall Street, in fact, on the corner of Water and Wall Street, just outside the Lloyds bank building there. We are looking for a suspect right now, determine the type of device. Police were also looking for a male suspect wearing a tan construction jacket and carrying a yellow tool box. These are the early pictures that we have. The man was described as having a mustache, five-feet-10, weighing 225 and in between his 30s and 40s. I said Lloyds, it's outside the Barclay's bank building in Lower Manhattan. We have dispatched Christine Romans, who's usually here on AHEAD OF THE CURVE in our studios, to get the very latest on the story. No injuries reported, and, once again, it was about two hours ago. This is according to the Associated Press, and we're taking pictures here from WABC. Again, we'll have the latest details when they do cross, the explosion taking place at 4:40 Eastern Time.
