Halflife2.net is reporting that Half-Life 2 will be released in the UK on DVD only (thanks: Blues). There is no confirmed news regarding the rest of Europe as yet. Gabe Newell from Valve Software revealed a week ago that the Standard Edition of the game will include HL2 and CS ource and will ship on six CDs, in one of three box-art packages (Gordon, Alyx or the G-Man). The Collector's Edition will ship on a single DVD and includes Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 1: Source, a Half-Life 2 T-shirt and a Prima book sampler.
