Connecticut Scout Camp Guide
This is a comprehensive guide to all of the Boy Scout Camps in this state. The site is from the Scouts NewEngland Web Page.

This site gives details on all Connecticut Boy Scout Camps including local weather forecasts, map coordinates, driving directions, and an opportunity for you to leave your own comments & reviews about the camps. Non BSA Camp sites are also listed.
CRC - Connecticut Rivers Camping Page
This site from the Connecticut Rivers Council provides directions, permit applications, maps, photos, etc. to all council properties. The camps of the council are Camp Nahaco, Camp Wakenah, Camp Tadma, Camp Workcoeman, Camp Mattatuck, & J N Webster S.R.
CRC - Camp Cochegan Rock
Located in Montville CT on 100 acres this is a short term camp with a Dining Hall and tent sites.
CRC - Camp Mattatuck
Near the town of Plymouth the Connecticut River's Council operates this camp facility. The camp has added a climbing wall to its 500 acre spread. Each summer more than 2,000 scouts attend camp including some 1,250 for a week of Boy Scout Summer Camp.
CRC - Camp Nahaco
The camp occupies 135 acres and has a pond/lake (50 or more acres) for swimming, boating, canoeing, and sailing. They offer tent camp sites, Adirondack (lean-to) shelters and winter cabins for overnight groups, an activity field for atheletics & camporees
CRC - Camp Tadma
This camp of the Connecticut Rivers Council is near the town of Bozrah. Celebrating 50 years of operation the camp is a major Boy Scout Summer Camp as well as a Cub World with several themed program areas.

CRC - J. N. Webster Scout Reservation
June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation is located in scenic Ashford, Connecticut. Established in 1964, the reservation occupies 1,200 acres of land that is home to approximately 1,230 Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts each summer during its six-week season.

CRC - Workcoeman Scout Reservation
Camp Workcoeman is located on the shore of beautiful West Hill Lake in Winsted, Connecticut. Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest, continuously operated scout camps in the country. Operated by Connecticut Rivers Council in Winsted CT.

This small Connecticut Council traces the orgins of their camp back to 1949 in a detailed timeline history.
CYC - Connecticut Yankee Camping Page
This site from the Connecticut Yankee Council provides directions, permit applications, and maps to all council properties. The four camps of the council are Sequassen, Hoyt Scout Reservation, Deer Lake Scout Reservation & Camp Wah Wah Taysee.
CYC - Camp Sequassen
Since 1922 tens of thousands of Scouts and Scouters have camped at Sequassen. Located in New Hartford, Connecticut, along the shores of West Hill Pond, Camp Sequassen is made up of 500 rolling, woodland acres. Operated by the Connecticut Yankee Council.
CYC - Camp Wah Wah Taysee
Camp Wah Wah Taysee is located in Hamden on rolling hills adjacent to Sleeping Giant State Park. This camp could be considered a back pack camp, everything must be carried in. Operated by Connecticut Yankee Council. The camp occupies 16 acres.
CYC - Deer Lake Scout Reservation
Deer Lake Scout Reservation is located in Killingworth (approximately midway between New Haven & Groton) about a 15 minutes drive north of I-95. The camp contains a lagoon, a field, hills & a COPE course. Operated by the Connecticut Yankee Council.
CYC - Hoyt Scout Reservation
The John Sherman Hoyt Training Center and Scout Reservation is a 174 wooded acres and is open year-around for tent camping. There is a cabin with electricity and hot and cold water, two inside flush toilets, kitchen, etc. Located in West Redding.
GC - Ernest Thompson Seton Camp
Ernest Thompson Seton Scout Reservation is open for weekend camping. Day hikes and picnics from September through mid June. Cub Scout Day Camp is held from mid-June through August.
HC - Edmund D. Strang Scout Reservation
This 186 acre camp run by Housatonic Council is located in Goshen, CT and attracts scouts alike from NY, MA, CT, and RI! The summer camp lets you earn many unique merit badges and the memories you make at camp will last a life-time!
HC - Edmund D. Strang Scout Reservation
Operated by the Housatonic Council and located in the foothills of Litchfield County, Strang Scout Reservation's 186 acres of fields, forests and streams provides the perfect environment to experience the splendors of scouting.
