Belief & Betrayal allows you to play the part of a journalist, Jonathan Danter, who - after the mysterious death of his uncle - gets involved in a dangerous church conspiracy. The conspiracy has its roots through the centuries in the time when Judas got 30 silver coins for his betrayal of Jesus Christ. Belief & Betrayal is scheduled for a worldwide release in Q4 of 2006. FUN Technologies today released more screens from PoxNora for Mac and PC, an online strategy game with fantasy roleplaying elements that will be released on August 1st. You collect Runes which allow you to summon champions, equipment, relics and spells. The game is turn-based and you battle other players as you attempt to collect Nora, a vital resource used to summon additional Runes into play. The strategic placement of units and tactical choice of attacks are vital to success.

In2Games today released the first screenshots from Real World Golf 2007, the sequel to Real World Golf for PS2 and PC. Using the Gametrak system that allows you to track the swing in real-time. Real World Golf 2007 features a new game engine built from the ground up and along with new courses and features to further enhance your golfing experience. The game will be available on August 25th in Europe and during Q4 2006 in the USA.

Oxygen Interactive today released a short Q&A; along with lots of new screens showcasing the course editor of ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 featuring Thomas Bjorn, Mark O'Meara and Ian Woosnam. Developed by Gusto Games, the game features real-world golf, high-end graphics, accurate animation and a unique control system. Release is scheduled for August 8th for the PlayStation 2, PC, Xbox and PSP.

OnNet today announced the Shot-Online Summer Kickoff Festival, a series of events taking place inside Shot-Online that could get you lots of prizes or even an Xbox 360 console. The first event awards the player who can build a new character to reach the highest level during the Summer Rookie Event. CDV today released the second video dev diary for Darkstar One, showcasing this 3D space-sim developed by Ascaron. In the game you will play Kayron Jarvis, a young fighter pilot whose life will take an unexpected turn during the course of events. The game features over two hundred different weapons, shields and equipment items, as well as a vast, simulated universe with numerous, completely different races, space ships and battle tactics. The English demo is locally mirrored here and the German demo can be found here. The release is scheduled for August 11th in the UK and for August 14th in the US.

VU Games today released the official trailer for Miami Vice The Game, a PSP game based on the Miami Vice motion picture set to be released in cinemas on July 28. Set in present-day Miami, players will go deep undercover as narcotic officers Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs in the rich, glamorous and decadent world of Miami Vice. Developed by UK-based Rebellion, Miami Vice The Game will be available exclusively for the PSP system this July.

Battlefront.com released a new movie and a new batch of screenshots from Histwar: Les Grognards, a strategic and tactical war game which puts players into the role of the Commander In Chief of one of the many powerful Napoleonic armies between the years 1805 -1814. The game can be played in real time and will offer a full 3D view mode with over 50,000 animated soldiers on the battlefield, environmental effects such as, rain, fog, snow and smoke, as well as Internet, LAN and PBEM multiplayer modes.

WinLems is a complete Windows remake of the original DOS classic Lemmings. It includes a full-featured level editor that gives you complete control over every aspect of making levels. Everything is emulated from the original except for music, which will be added in next release.

Aspyr Media, Inc. announced the development of a new game application, The Gamerhood, that will allow a user to purchase and download a game directly to their Macintosh using a standard Internet connection. A wide range of Mac games, from very casual titles to some of Aspyr's AAA titles, will be made available through The Gamerhood.
     5. Abandon Mobile sent over a press release announcing that , NBC Sports Real Golf will soon be available on major wireless phone networks in North America. The game will be showcased at the 17th annual American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Event which will take place July 11-16, at Edgewood Golf Resort, Lake Tahoe California.

Mind Candy today announced that Walmart, Overstock.com®, Buy.com and Toys “R” Us, Inc. have begun selling Perplex City card packs on their online retail sites. The cards are sold in packs of six for $4.99 and as a $29.99 starter kit that includes an introduction to the game, a magazine, two packs of cards, a CD of music from Perplex City’s own Hesh Records, and a card organizing binder with protective sleeves. Perplex City is a trading card based Alternate Reality Game blending real-life treasure hunting, interactive fiction, puzzle-solving, online communities, and live events in cities around the world. Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) announced the development of The Serpent's Spine, a new EverQuest expansion which will be available via digital download beginning in September for the suggested price of U.S. $29.99. EverQuest: The Serpent's Spine will feature the Drakkin, the first new player race since the Frogloks (added to the game seven expansions ago), new content for levels 1 to 75, a new starting city (Crescent Reach), as well as new zones, NPCs, spells and more.
