EA and Viacom Consumer Products creating game based on The Godfather fiction
Electronic Arts has released a new movie and new screenshots for The Godfather, the game developed by EA and based on the book by Mario Puzo and the classic film by Paramount Pictures through a licensing relationship with Viacom Consumer Products. The Godfather features a GTA style city where players can explore and accomplish missions. The game will offer players countless choices for solving the family's problems with violence, skillful diplomacy, or a cunning mixture of both. The Godfather, revealed by Warren Jensen at Bear-Stearns 17th Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference, is set for worldwide launch in early 2006, for PC, Xbox and PS2.
