THQ released a trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2, the sequel to Destroy All Humans!, expected to hit the store shelves this fall, for PS2 and Xbox. Assuming the role of the Furon Scout - Crypto 137 - players will embark on another mission to earth to take on the world of free love, the Cold War and other 60's era icons. In Destroy All Humans! 2 Players will have access to an upgraded arsenal of weapons and enhanced mental abilities while they battle a variety of new enemies from secret agents and giant creatures to Soviet Forces and ninja warriors.

JoWood today released the first trailer from Alpine Ski Racing 2007. This game reunites two already established franchises like Ski Racing and Ski Alpin into one single experience. Release expected this fall.

At GC 2006 Rockstar released new screens from GTA Vice City Stories for the PSP and GTA Liberty City Stories for the PlayStation 2. We also have two trailers from the PS2 version of the Liberty City Stories, which has already been released in June. The PSP version of the Vice City Stories is now scheduled for October 20th.

We have a trailer and eight screenshots from Day of Atlantis, showcasing this real-time strategy game in the works at World Forge and scheduled to be released by Play Ten Interactive in fall 2007 (thanks: 3DGamers). The game is based on the graphics engine of the game Sparta: Ancient Wars, but has a new and very powerful water technology. For the first time in the history of RTS, a full physical model of water space will be created.

Playlogic International has released a new trailer from Sparta – Ancient Wars, a game which features a revolutionary physics engine, developed for real time strategy games, which enables all units, buildings and the environment (e.g. trees, rocks, water, fire) to interact with each other. Sparta: Ancient Wars will offer three campaigns with 30 missions and different races, battles without a limitation of unit numbers and more.

Electronic Arts has released a trailer from The Godfather for the Xbox 360, along with a fact sheet detailing the main features of the game. It seems that compared to the PC version, the Xbox 360 one will feature new missions, new contract hits, a new family compound, new venues and some more interaction with key characters. The game is scheduled for September 21st.

Centauri Production released lots of screenshots and a hi-res trailer from Rock of Pariahs, a chasing action game full of blowing up cars, loaded guns and angry mafiosos. The game is scheduled for this holiday.

Valve has released a new trailer for Half-Life 2: Episode Two, showcasing the upcoming expansion pack for Half-Life 2. Armed with new weaponry and vehicles, Dr. Gordon Freeman must race through a countryside riddled with an increasingly feirce Combine threat. Episode Two will be available in Q1 2007, for PC, PS3, and 360, and will also include Portal and Team Fortress 2.

Cenega released the first batch of screenshots from UFO: Afterlight, the latest chapter in the series developed by Altar Games and scheduled to ship during Q1 2007. UFO: Afterlight will feature resources management and terraforming possible in later stages of the game, a large number of new technologies, weapons and equipment, more complex diplomacy option affecting the story, as well as new enemies and new alien races with variable weapons and battle tactics.

We added in our gallery the third batch of screenshots and a HD trailer from Full Auto 2: Battlelines, showcasing this upcoming sequel exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game features 25 different vehicles ranging from classic muscle cars and low riders to SUVs and industrial vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor and placed in fully realized and fully destructible urban street environments. Players can destroy the environment to dynamically change track conditions, to block competitors, open new paths or crush opponents with falling debris. 4A Games has released the GC 2006 trailer for METRO 2033 - The Last Refuge, a PC/PS3 survival FPS with RPG elements set in a post-apocalyptic Moscow, where humanity gleams in metro (subway) tunnels and the stations are turned into small states with different political regimes. JoWooD Productions has released the first trailer for SpellForce 2: Dragon Storm, showcasing the upcoming expansion for SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars. This time, players will fight for the magical portals, which seem to be the only connection between the shattered islands of Eo. During the search for the font, which could replace the dwindling energy and save the magical portals, the player recovers old runes and amazing traces of the most powerful creatures of the past: dragons.

Techland has released the GC 2006 trailer of Chrome 2, showcasing their sequel to 2003’s sci-fi tactical FPS game. Chrome 2 will feature a single-player campaign, as well as multiplayer squad based play for up to 64 players. The game is planned to be released for PC and a next-gen platform.

The Battlestations Midway GC 2006 trailer is now locally mirrored, showcasing this World War II naval combat game in the works at Mithis Games. In this game, you will command a host of US and Allied air, sea and underwater units across the Pacific. At your disposal are over 60 war-machines, including huge aircraft carriers, battleships, destroyers, land and carrier based bombers and even submarines, all equipped with authentic weaponry. You will engage the enemy in dogfights, launch multiple attack squadrons from a carrier, fire the massive guns of a battleship, whilst launching deadly torpedo attacks from a hidden submarine.

10tacle Studios released a new trailer for Elveon, showcasing their fantasy action epic game scheduled for release in Q2 2007, for Xbox 360 and PC. "Elveon" means "The book of elves" and is based on a comprehensive fantasy saga which goes back to the times of the rise of the advanced Elvish civilization. The gods have left the world of Naon in a rush, it is the place they had wanted to transform into their paradise. The Neamas, the elves of the ancient times and fellows of the gods have remained there all alone. SEGA has also released the GC 2006 trailer for Phantasy Star Universe, showcasing the next installment in the popular Phantasy Star series, developed for PC, PS2 and Xbox 360. Featuring a single-player action adventure spanning multiple planets and an online multi-player component, the game is developed by SEGA Studios under the guidance of Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog and Phantasy Star Online and will ship during Fall 2006.

Eidos Interactive and TT Games (developers of LEGO Star Wars) have released a new trailer for Bionicle Heroes, a game set for release in Autumn 2006 on PlayStation 2, PC, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, GameCube. You'll play a young hero in the Bionicle universe who must learn and use the powers of the Bionicle Heroes in order to face the challenges ahead him.

JoWooD Productions has released the first trailer and three screenshots from The Mark, a first person shooter in which US Marine corps officer Steve Fletcher and top-rated mercenary Austin Hawke join up in a thrilling battle against international terrorism. They are Europes’ last line of defence, tasked to stop a deadly nuclear package before it reaches its’ destination, London. The Mark will be available this fall.

A new trailer from Forces of Corruption has been added in our download area, showcasing this expansion pack for Star Wars Empire at War which will introduce a unique point of view – the corrupt side. Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG) has released the first trailer from Desperate Housewives, a lifestyle simulation PC game based on the top-rated, Golden Globe-winning ABC-TV series, produced by Touchstone Television. In this videogame adaptation, players take on the role of a new housewife who moves into Wisteria Lane and unlocks the delicious scandals hidden in the seemingly "perfect" neighborhood. Desperate Housewives is developed by Liquid Entertainment and scheduled to hit retail shelves this fall.

Electronic Arts has released a new trailer from Need for Speed Carbon, the next title in the franchise which will hit the streets this November. Developed by EA Black Box in Vancouver, British Columbia, Need for Speed Carbon will be available for Xbox 360, PC, PS3, PS2, Xbox, GC, DS, GBA, PSP and mobile.

We have three new Alpha Prime trailers, showcasing this FPS in the works at Black Element Software along with a few screenshots. The game puts player in the role of a mining inspector, tasked with exploring an illegal asteroid mining base to investigate the disappearance of its inhabitants. However, more pressing is why the mining robots and other autonomous systems are trying to put an end to his inspecting, permanently. The story leads the player through several distinct environments - the inspector's spaceship, damaged by enemy fire from within the asteroid, technical facilities, laboratories, crew quarters, mining shafts and more. On his quest to discover the secret of the asteroid the player will fight not only the robots, but the station itself. Using the ship's radio he will talk to the navigator of a cargo vessel, one of the few people from the surrounding area to somehow remain alive.

Electronic Arts released new screens from the Xbox 360 and Xbox versions of this new installment of the series. FIFA 07 will feature licenses for all the world’s top leagues, including MLS and Mexican 1st Division in North America, and 26 others from over 20 nations. Interactive Leagues, a new online mode which will be included in the game, will enable you to pit your club against supporters of your real-world opponents. The Interactive Leagues feature the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French League and Mexican 1st Division.

We now have five brand new screenshots from Metal Gear Solid 4, the next installment of the MGS series, currently under development at Kojima Productions. Kojima Productions combines the strengths of producer/director Hideo Kojima, producer Kenichiro Imaizumi, director Shuyo Murata, and character designer Yoji Shinkawa. There are no new details about the game, but they promised to deliver new game design ideas and concepts with this fourth installment of the series. Take your time and check the screens.

NCsoft and ArenaNet have announced that Guild Wars Nightfall will be available in stores worldwide on 27 October 2006. The new Guild Wars chapter will offer two new profession (classes): Dervish, a scythe-wielding holy warrior, and the Paragon, guardian angel of the Elonian people. Guild Wars Nightfall also introduces new customizable Heroes who level up, follow player instructions in combat, and use skills and equipment of the player’s choice. These Heroes will follow the player through savage coasts, ancient monuments, and poisonous deserts during an epic story that spans 20 missions and hundreds of quests. And for the ultimate one on one challenge, competitive players can choose to enter the new Hero vs. Hero Battles, where they pit their customized team of Heroes against those of other players from around the world. At the opening of the show doors for the 2007 Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, Microsoft Corp.’s booth was set to supply gamers with access to more than 130 playable game stations spanning more than 40 titles for Windows, Xbox 360 and the online gaming service, Xbox Live. GSC Game World has released a new trailer for Heroes of Annihilated Empires, showcasing their upcoming real-time strategy game scheduled for this September. Combining aspects of RTS and RPG genres, Heroes of Annihilated Empires promises 18 heroes, 100 different units, 70 animated buildings, 50 magic items, large-scale battles with up to 64.000 units on the battlefield, completely unique races (units, tech trees, spells, artifacts and buildings), six unique landscapes corresponding to the six nations and many more.

Brothers In Arms Hell’s Highway promises amazing graphics and sound, new cutting-edge gameplay features and a completely redesigned online component. Ubisoft has released a new trailer from Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, showcasing the FPS for PC in the works at Arkane Studios and Kuju Entertainment. The game will introduce players to the world of Ashan, the new setting for all future Might & Magic games. Ashan is a dark and unforgiving world, scarred by a bloody history and threatened by an apocalyptic prophecy: the Dark Messiah. Players will have the choice to become expert warriors, mages or assassins, each with their own cache of devastating weapons and spells to use in battling huge and vicious enemies. Microsoft released a new trailer for The WarChiefs feaaturing new in-game footage and cut scenes from the upcoming expansion for Age Of Empires III scheduled for this fall. Age Of Empires III: The WarChiefs will allow players to lead one of three Native American civilizations, including the Iroquois Confederation, to expand their empire and fight for control of the Americas. The expansion pack will include new civilizations, a new single player campaign, Home City enhancements and additional maps and units.

We have two new screenshots and two trailers from Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, the game developed by Splash Damage and built on id Software’s new MegaTexture rendering technology. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars features strategic team play, persistent character promotions, day and nightime combat missions, and powerful weapons and vehicles. Activision has also released new screenshots from Tony Hawk’s Project 8, the upcoming game of the Tony Hawk series, now being developed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Besides the outstanding graphics, physics and the definitive skateboarding experience they promise, there are quite some new features thrown in. There's a new engine completely with full 3D body scans of pro athletes and motion captured skateboard tricks along with features like Impress the locals, Filmer and Photo Goals, Picture-in-a-Picture and movable Ramps and Rails throughout the city.

Activision has released new screenshots from the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, an all-new action/RPG that features the largest roster of comic book characters ever seen in a video game (thanks: GameSpot). Players assume the roles of more than 20 Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade and Captain America, and through their actions determine the fate of both planet Earth and the Marvel univers. Players can create their own team name, icon and vehicle, as well as establish their team reputation as they play throughout the story. They also have the option to level up each character individually to their liking, or all team members at the same time to keep their heroes balanced.

Activision sent us new screenshots from Call of Duty 3, the sequel FPS developed for PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, Xbox and PS2. We also have a fact sheet full of details regarding the graphics and physics of the game, as well as the single and multiplayer modes. Call of Duty 3 is due to ship this fall.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer from Red Steel, showcasing this first-person action game deeloped exclusively for Nintendo Wii. Red Steel is set in modern-day Japan - players will master both the ancient art of the katana and the sophisticated technology of modern firearms taking advantage of the Wii’s remarkable controller. GOA released new concept art and screenshots from Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, info about Goblin Shaman and Dwarf Hammerer, and a zone overview for Black Fire Pass (check full article for details). The game is an MMO based on Games Workshop's popular Warhammer series, featuring innovating RvR gameplay that integrates PvP and PvE combat into a single, seamless, experience.

The Echoes of Faydwer GC 2006 traileris now available for download, showcasing the third expansion pack for EverQuest II which introduces a new playable race, The Fae. An enchanted race of winged creatures, the Fae dwell on the continent of Faydwer, in the arboreal city of Kelethin, the new starting city being added to this latest chapter in the EQII saga. ANACONDA today announced that its line-up for the Games Convention 2006 from Leipzig this week includes titles like Undercover: Operation Wintersonne, Runaway 2, Tony Tough 2 and Overclocked, as well as the stealth-action shooter Sabotage. ANACONDA will present their line-up on a massive screen in hall 5, at booth G02. Guests can get a look at the future titles just like in the theatre, free popcorn included.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced a new, limited edition of their popular console, Pink PlayStation 2, will be available from selected retailers throughout Europe from 8th November 2006 and will come complete with two Pink Analog Controller (DUALSHOCK) and a Pink Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2). NCsoft and ArenaNet today announced Guild Wars Nightfall will be showcased at the Leipzig Games Convention, taking place 23 - 27 August 2006. The new Guild Wars chapter will offer two new profession (classes): Dervish, a scythe-wielding holy warrior, and the Paragon, guardian angel of the Elonian people. Visitors to the Games Convention will also be able to witness the culmination of six months of intense online battles where top guilds from all over the globe have been competing for the crown of the first ever Guild Wars Factions World Champions and a share in the $100,000 prize pot. Spellborn International today announced that during press day of the Games Convention 2006 the gothic rock band Within Temptation will perform two mini concerts during which exclusive new Spellborn songs and platinum selling hits like 'Stand my ground' will be played. The band will perform their show in Hall 4 during the expo. The first concert takes place on August 23 at 15.00, while the second concert will take place the same day at 18.00.

Ubisoft has announced its participation in Games Convention 2006 with Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent, Call of Juarez, The Settlers II - The Next Generation, The Settlers for DS, Horsez and Open Season (press 'read more for details). GC 2006 will take place in Leipzig from August 23 to 27, 2006 - Ubisoft will be present in Halle 3, Stand B02.
