Ubisoft has released three more Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent clips starring Michael Ironside who lent this voice to Sam Fisher, the main character from the latest installment in the series, scheduled for October 19th, for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and GC. This time, Sam Fisher is a double agent - to stop a devastating terrorist attack, he must infiltrate a vicious terrorist group and destroy it from within. The game will feature dual objectives to fulfil (NSA government agents and terrorists will each want you to accomplish opposing tasks at the same time), a branching storyline with multiple endings, missions from all over the world (from Asia to Africa to the heart of the US), new authentic gadgets, and more.

Eidos has released a new video interview for Reservoir Dogs, showcasing this action game developed by Volatile Games and available now in Europe for PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The game is a remake of the famous 1992 movie featuring lots of stars like Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Steve Buscemi and even the brain behind all this, Quentin Tarantino. Reservoir Dogs will be launched across the US on October 24th.

Rockstar Games has released a new trailer from Bully, showcasing this game developed by Rockstar Vancouver for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and expected to hit the store shelves this October. In this game you'll play a troublesome schoolboy who stands up to bullies, gets picked on by teachers, plays pranks on malicious kids, wins or loses the girl and learns to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy.

Midway has released a new trailer from Stranglehold, a 3rd persion action game based on Unreal Engine 3 and scheduled to be released in Q1 2007. The game is currently under development at Midway Chicago for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, featuring the talents of Chow Yun-Fat and John Woo. Stranglehold allows players to experience exhilarating 3rd person next–gen action as you continue the story of John Woo's influential action film, "Hard-Boiled" starring Chow Yun–Fat. Earache Records, Metro 3D and Data Design Interactive have released a new demo for Earache Extreme Metal Racing for PlayStation 2, PC and PSP, a game featuring ten evil Earache teams racing through hell and other wastelands. The game will ship on November 3rd - it was conceived and created by 17 year old Gothic metaller Sky Nash.

Konami Digital Entertainment today announced that Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol will be presented to malls across the US in search of the very first virtual American Idol winner. The Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Virtual Contest will kick off with a bang on October 13 - 14 at the Jacob J. Javitz Convention Center in New York City during the Ziff Davis Digital Life event. The contest will then journey to nine other major US markets, including Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago. Ubisoft has released the third "Behind The Scenes" video for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, showcasing the fifth iteration of the multimillion-selling Rainbow Six tactical shooter franchise, developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studio for Xbox 360 and PS3. Rainbow operatives take to the chaotic streets of Las Vegas as an escalating terrorist siege in “Sin City” threatens to take world terrorism to new, uncontrollable heights. A new patch for Ship Simulator 2006 has been released, bringing the sim game by Dutch developer VSTEP to v1.6 (press 'read more' for changelog). Note that this patch upgrades version 1.4 and 1.5 to 1.6. Starting out from lower versions, customers should first patch with previous patches.
