Bush administration calling for boost in Pell grants

President Bush's 2008 budget will call for the largest increase in three decades in Pell grants, which are awarded to low-income students and do not have to be paid back. The proposed boost would exceed one passed by the House this week, Education Secretary Margaret Spellings said Thursday.
