Kettler | Coach Rowing Machine | I really like this unit but for two items. One, being only a single user unit. For two persons to work out on this unit requires reprogramming the unit. A real bummer. Two, The seat rails could be made more durably to include tight, well-lubed needle bearings to prevent sqeaking | | Kevin K | 08/01/2007 15:28:53 |

Waterrower | Walnut with computer | In responce to the previous review, you can buy a pc cable from waterrower which enables you to connect your waterrower monitor to your computer. You can then buy a program called Netathlon which allows you to race people over the internet or on a LAN. | | Andy | 26/01/2006 09:34:33 |

Waterrower | Walnut with computer | Fairly quick to put together (don"t tighten it all until you are done) but had to use a lot of leverage on one piece.
Worked great from the start and was very relaxing to use, I could feel a lot of muscles working.
Rubber stopper is a devil to fit in, use a small amount of lubricant on the edge, works wonders.
Would love if this had a hookup to a computer and I could race against "competitors" on the screen, my old gym had one of these. | | Peter | 19/12/2004 21:48:49 |

Carl Lewis | Magnetic Rowing Machine | I bought this rower a month ago but it has only been used for 10mins! After a test run, the wheels under the seat started coming apart - I am still awaiting a replacement. I am a little "narked" about this, but for those 10mins the rower was brilliant! I just hope mine was a bad one and that the new seat will last a lot longer :) | | Jay | 02/04/2004 09:17:52 |

V-fit | Supreme Sculling Rower | Don`t bother buying this one!!!! Returned the first one to the shop because it didn`t have all the nuts and bolts necessary to assemble it and the computer counter only worked when the seat was on the wrong way round... The second one now has to go back because it has bent out of shape and the welding is splitting on the bracket which supports the arms. I am only a 9 1/2 stone woman and this has happened after just one work out!!!! What a waste of time and money. | | Jeanette | 29/07/2006 21:42:59 |

York | Sprinter Rower | This rowing machine screams cheap and nasty. The cable is way too low down and it`s impossible to get a smooth proper run out of it. I would not recommend this rowing machine to my worst enemy. | | Nicky | 06/06/2005 21:16:34 |

V-Fit | Helios Sculling Rower | Terrible Product. The hydraulic cylinders are poorly attached to the frame. Within 3 weeks of purchase the bolt holding one of the arms to the base sheared in half. Rather than going through the hassle of returning the product or ordering a spare part I replaced it myself. A week later the bushes on both sides started to break apart and have now completely disintegrated. Yet another thing to replace. Not worth buying, wish I hadn"t. | | Richie | 26/02/2005 11:21:09 |

Carl Lewis | Magnetic Rowing Machine | Had 2 of these delivered know. First one the resistance adjustment broke inside 5 minutes. Second one had the same fault but lasted 6 weeks. Helpline offered no help. Argus won"t refund my money. Avoid! | | Anon | 11/09/2004 12:49:24 |
