This game will never go out-of-date. Excellent fun for all the family, helps child to recognise numbers on a dice and take turns. Pieces are chunky and manageable for tiny hands. Money well spent.

It was around from my young days and it remains around now and it is a superb game as it is called. Merely frustration in getting your pieces home before the other players. How one refrains from recommending it because the cat foolishly ate the pieces is nonsense. Should have been more careful with the pieces in the first place!

I`ve ownwed this game since the original video version came out. I found it on the shelves of the mini mall on Travis Air Force Base where I used to live. Most people have never even heard of it let alone seen it in person. Every person I`ve ever introduced to it has loved it and always asks me to bring it on dark and stormy nights. No matter where I go it`s always a hit! To the developers of the game and all who worked on it...THIS GAME ROCKS!!!

This is a great game and you shouldn`t have a problem playing it if you ore ten or over.. You will really have fun and i strongly recommend to play it during sleepovers and in a basement or somewhere dark. VERY FUN!!

Brilliant game - you have to pay attention - which is can be quite fraught at times - watching the TV, the board and your fellow competitors to ensure there`s no cheating! To get a game that is great fun for boys (with ants in their pants) and adults together on a miserable, dark winter`s evening is no mean feat! What`s more, it only lasts for an hour so it doesn`t drag on forever unlike some games we could mention..... Great fun.

It`s an OK game, provided your kids understand that randomness can cause them to go from first to last in one pop. If your children get easily upset by such things, then toughen their pansy-butts up first, and then use this game to teach them that in games, much like in life, stuff sometimes happens for no rhyme or reason.

I have noticed the packing and the board layout are different to the one i bought in October, so I dont know if they have got a bit more immaginative with the game or not.

However, my friend`s daughter has just had one for her birthday and it works brilliantly. Obviously there are some duff ones out there!! Do not buy this game. it is extremely annoying with a lot of screaming. Choosing which of the three games to play is repetitive and time consuming. Monster didn`t allow anyone to finish a game, no matter how quickly or how carefully parts were removed. Unlike, say Buckaroo, he just tells you, You lose and screams, very loudly. Then you have to set up all over again, after about 40 seconds of play. I returned mine, much to the relief of my 5 and 8 year olds!

I question of the makers of this game have ever played it themselves. The animation is great but the game is hard to play.

Difficult to complete task in time and people are disattracted because they have to pay attention to the screen and the board at the same time.

Without extra rules it is hard to collect the keys that are required to win the game.

This was bought for my 8 year-old son, for this Christmas - with a view to the whole famly playing it. Unfortunately, it quickly becomes tiresome to anyone over 10, because of the gaping loopholes in the rules. Whether due to a misplaced policy to make the rules as simple and concise as possible, or through a lack of play testing before release, this is an irritatingly confusing and ill-balanced game. One wonders whether this is part of a new trend to release cult collector`s merchantise that are never meant to be played with. When my son is bored with it, I intent to burn our copy - to deny it from some sad collector on eBay.

This game is a big disappointment.

I gave toy as a christmas present and my daughter was excited when she recieved it. So we set it up and got ready to catch butterflies, after around 5 mins about 3 butterflies came out. I thought it must be the batteries, so a quick trip to the shops and back on boxing day. I put in the batteries and the same result the fan would not blow the butterflies out also the way the base is shaped inside does not help.

Expect to see a lot of these for sale on Ebay.

You would probably catch more living butterflies on a rainy winters day than you would with this game

This doesn`t work! The motor isn`t strong enough to blow the butterflies out! It takes 4 x 1.5v batteries, which cost about £1 each, and they last about 10-20 minutes before the power starts to fade and the butterflies stop coming out. And it`s really fiddly to put the butterflies back in. No fun at all.
