Eidos has released the first video dev diary for Tomb Raider: Anniversary Edition, showcasing this game in the works at Crystal Dynamics, the same company guilty for turning Lara into a legend. Previously known as 10th Anniversary Edition, they had to change the title since the first game starring Lara was released back in 1996, while this one ships in June 2007, for the PS2, PSP and PC.

Electronic Arts has released the Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Worldbuilder, the toolset that the game's designers used to create all of the single-player missions and multiplayer maps. The Worldbuilder includes a detailed instruction manual (100-plus pages) that is intended both for beginning map designers as well as advanced and returning Worldbuilder users. Thanks: Blues.

Activision sent us new screenshot from Transformers: The Game, illustrating this game produced in association with Hasbro and based on Transformers, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures' upcoming live-action feature film due out July 4th. Transformers: The Game lets gamers control the outcome in the battle for Earth as they choose to protect it as AUTOBOTS or destroy it as DECEPTICONS. StarWraith 3D Games LLC has released an updated demo of Evochron Alliance, the sequel to the original space combat and trading simulation Evochron. Among the other things, this release adds performance optimizations for Windows Vista and slow systems running other versions of Windows. CDV Software Entertainment today announced the upcoming release of Codename: Panzers Commander's Edtion, a collection of the WWII RTS titles, Codename: Panzers Phase One and Codename: Panzers Phase Two. Codename: Panzers Commander's Edition is set to ship to North American retail on May 28.

Aspyr Media has announced that The Sims 2 Seasons, the fifth expansion pack for The Sims 2, will be released for Mac in late May 2007. The Sims 2 Seasons is licensed by Electronic Arts and is being developed for Mac by Aspyr Studios. The game will soon be available for preorder through Aspyr's website for $34.99.

Our Stranger gallery has been updated with new screenshots from this game developed by Fireglow Ltd. These screens show some of the tactics used for overcoming extremely powerful machines, called the 'Hearts of Death', which means players have to play on two maps simultaneously to overcome the enemy (check full story for details). Midway Games Inc. has released several new Wii screenshots from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, a game featuring the most extensive cast of playable characters in the series to date and an all-new create-a-fighter mode. The game is expected to ship this April for the Wii.

505 Games today released a new batch of screenshots from Exit 2, a new and imprived version of the simple and strategic puzzle action game for the PSP. The game now features up to 400 additional stages, 10 new gimmicks and two new characters and improved in-game quality. Release is expected on May 11th.
