Releasing this new trailer, Codemasters announced that The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar will be officially released on 24th April, 2007 – the same day as it is launched in North America. Previously known as Middle Earth Online, The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar is the first and only massively multiplayer online (MMO) role playing game based upon the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien. The game will be co-published this spring in North America by Turbine, Inc. and Midway Games, and in Europe by Codemasters Online Gaming. The beta client is locally mirrored here.

Eternal Silence 2 is a Half-Life 2 multiplayer mod which puts you in the role of a soldier helping to fight the war between the United Terran Forces (UTF) and Neo Galactic Militia (NGM). The mod allows for extremely open-ended gameplay, allowing you to fight fast-paced dog fights in space, bombard an enemy capital ship with a heavy payload, invade the enemy capital ship by foot and attack from the inside, or command the troops and claim victory over your foe. Mode 7 Games has released a playable demo for Determinance, allowing you to try out their free-form multiplayer sword-fighting PC game which has been in development for three years. It boasts an intuitive analogue mouse-based control-system and has been developed using Garage Games' Torque engine. Thanks: Blues.

Sony Online Entertainment LLC (SOE) has announced that Pirates of the Spanish Main, the newest expansion for the Pirates Constructible Strategy Game (CSG) Online in the work the company’s Denver studios, is scheduled to launch Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Pirates of the Spanish Main introduces a fleet of 68 new virtual ships for players to collect as well as more "treasure" icons that can be placed on the online map and protected or looted from other digital buccaneers. Mastiff LLC has released four new trailers from Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, showcasing this 3D action-RPG developed by Nihon Falcom and available now in retail stores across North America, exclusively for PSP. Immersing gamers in a vivid fantasy world filled with a colorful cast of characters, Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure features 23 non-player characters, 48 unique enemies, and over 90 items to collect, puzzle and trap-filled dungeons, and more. The game also features an all-star cast of popular voice actors whose credits span an array of well-known games, television shows and feature films: Amber Hood for Parin, Tara Strong for Cream, Mosby and Baby, and Dee Bradley Baker for Rocko, Digby and Puchi. SEGA has releaseda new movie and sixteen new screenshots from Shining Force EXA, a game developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2 with an entirely new storyline in the Shining series. The game introduces a new Fortress System that allows players to experience two sides of the battle by using aggressive offensive and defensive strategies to protect their Geo Fortress, enhanced party command abilities, improved character customization, multiple playable characters, and a distinctive art styleenhanced party command abilities, improved character customization, multiple playable characters and a distinctive art style. Genesis Rising: The Universal Crusade Gameplay Trailers

We have two gameplay movies from Genesis Rising, a science fiction RTS in the works at Metamorf Studios and due to ship in March 2007. Genesis Rising: The Universal Crusade takes place in the very distant future, three thousand years after what humans believe was the arrival of "the savior". The player will take on a role of captain Iconah, a battle-hardened fleet commander and a brilliant genetic designer, sent on a quest to explore and conquer the Universal Heart, an enigmatic entity that spawned all life and matter into the universe.

Activision has released the second trailer from Call of Duty: Roads to Victory for the PSP, a game developed by Amaze Entertainment and scheduled to be released this spring. The game lets you play as an 82nd Airborne Division infantry soldier, a Canadian First Army rifleman and an elite British Parachuting Regiment commando in all new missions, never seen before in a Call of Duty game. Agetec, Inc. announced that Cookie & Cream, a unique combination of action adventuring, puzzle cooperation and mini-games starring the most famous rabbit duo in videogames, will be is released this spring for the Nintendo DS. Cookie & Cream’s unique yet accessible control scheme on the Nintendo DS has players navigating through the worlds on the top screen while solving puzzles and disarming traps on the touch screen below. The game can be played on one system as a single-player game where one person controls both characters, or as a two-player cooperative game with each player controlling a different rabbit. Cookie & Cream is wireless and Wi-Fi compatible for cooperative gameplay as well as 4-player Battle action - the first screenshots have been inserted in our gallery.
GarageGames announced the release of Torque Game Engine Advanced, available at a substantial discount to Indies and hobbyists. The Indie license is available for $295 and, as always, license holders will have access to the full C++ source code and never pay any royalties, ever. For larger developers, the Commercial license will be available for $1495 - also with the source code included and without royalties. Bethesda Softworks today released new screenshots from The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles for the Xbox 360 and PC, a new official expansion for the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
