Tournament.com is the only officially licensed website to host Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: Source game matches with cash prizes and if you sing-up now, you will receive $20 in credit to use toward online matches. Data Design Interactive today announced they secured rights to publish and develop the Nintendo Wii version of Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars, a 3D RPG action game set in a fantasy world developed by Quotix Software. The game is divided into 14 maps that range from mysterious environments to the grass strewn plains to the dark dungeons. The player can choose between 2 characters, each with unique weapons and different abilities. Whichever character is chosen, there will be constant action with hordes of monsters. There are 18 types of monsters, and at the end of the game the boss awaits the player. Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars for Wii is due for released in fourth quarter 2007. Disney Interactive Studios today announced that classic arcade games Tron and Discs of Tron will be re-released this summer through Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360. Each game includes the original version as well as an enhanced version with new graphics and audio features, as well as online modes. Introversion Software, developers of Darwinia, has issued a new patch for Defcon, bringing to v1.42 their latest strategy game that simulates Global Thermonuclear War. Be sure that Defcon is NOT RUNNING when you install this patch.

The official website of Depths of Peril has been updated with a new story called Forgotten Cave, offering more background info about this upcoming role-playing game with strategy elements in the works at Soldak Entertainment. A new section on the website has been added for all of the races that appear (mostly in the background stories) in the world of Aleria.

Virgin Play today announced the signing of its publishing contract with I - Imagine studios to publish Final Armada for PlayStation 2 and PSP across PAL territories. Final Armada is an action/ combat game based on controlling vehicles. The release date is yet to be announced, so in the meantine check these screenshots.

New Game World has announced the release of the Dmitron Expansion for its 3D Post Apocalyptic MMORPG Savage Eden developed by T Entertainment Corp. Dmitron Expansion features a new world and dungeon system, including fully updated game play, 270 new items, 60 new quests, 100 new monsters, new skills and many more. Microsoft Game Studios and Epic Games today announced that a new Gears of War map pack is now available via Xbox LIVE. The Hidden Fronts multiplayer map pack contains four maps and costs 800 Microsoft points. All four of the new maps will be made available at no cost over Xbox LIVE on Sept. 3rd.

D3Publisher of America today announced they will be releasing a series of games through the Xbox Live Arcade later this year. The first three titles are Mad Tracks, RocketBowl and Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, a downloadable version of the Nintendo DS and PSP game. Check the press release for details.

Infocomm Asia Holdings (IAH) has announced that the English version of Granado Espada will begin its Pre-Open Beta Test (POBT) Phase on 17th May 2007 - the pre-open beta client is now locally mirrored. Sign-ups for POBT accounts can also be done at IAH's here. The game is developed by Hakkyu Kim, the creator of Ragnarok Online, and features a Multiple Character Control system, which allows you to create and simultaneously control more characters at once.

A patch for Galactic Dream: Rage of War here is now available for download, adding several bugfixes and features to the game developed by Evolution Vault. Galactic Dream: Rage of War is a 3D strategy game in real time in which you gather resources, build facilities in space and train star-ships with the final purpose of decimating your enemies. Humanity has now less than one hundred years to forever abandon the Colonies to search for another home world, if they are to survive against the menace coming from the galactic core. Sierra Entertainment has released several new screenshots from World in Conflict, showcasing this PC strategy game in the works at Massive Entertainment and expected to ship this Fall. World in Conflict presents a chillingly authentic Cold War scenario where the Berlin Wall never fell. The story begins in 1989 as the Soviets, fearing certain collapse, boldly advance into Europe. NATO responds in force only to be met on a second front - a full-fledged invasion of the American homeland. Players take on the role of field commander, leading the era's most powerful military machines in the campaign to retake America's cities and suburbs. World in Conflict will feature destructible 3D battlefields, aggressive team-based multiplayer action, a focus on fast, hard-hitting battles.
