December 1 Update The club would also
like to express its gratitude to Craig Sayers for his donation of
the new notice-boards for the pavement. Craig also did the graphic
design work which features on the boards.
May 21 Update.
We have now spent almost all of the money
so generously donated by club members and supporters and the results
can plainly be seen All heaters working [well, almost all] lighting
improved, cleaning improved out of sight, new equipment in the
Kitchen [fridge, microwave, urn etc] completing stage one. Stage two
is the improved entrance Glazed entrance doors covered porch,
external lighting improvements all of which are beyond our
means at the moment. So folks if you have not yet made a donation
now is the time to do so with the end of the financial coming up you
may want to reduce your taxable income and feature as a sponsor of
the club with publicity and business tax deduction. Private
donations are of course always welcome

February 17 Update
So far we have spent almost $3500 in the supply of tables, extra
lighting ,cupboards, and various minor repairs. Our next project is
the improvement of the entrance and the replacement of the existing
fluorescent tubes in the hall.
The likely cost of these items may well come to $1200
Visit our club and see the progress and keep the donations coming.

Donations Sought
In the new venue we are required to supply our own tables, chairs, lights, storage units, screens etc.
These items are estimated to cost well over $4000 and we have sought the support of the local Council and Chess Victoria,
however as this is not likely to cover all our costs, we also seek the support of you the members and the parents of our junior players to help us.
Remember: No donation is too small or too large!
