Here at Blues Music Now!, we think big. It would be easy to list the top records of the decade or even the century, but because we are leaving one millennium and entering another, we thought we'd name our favorite blues albums of the millennium.
Editor Jeff Stevens and Senior Writer Steve Sharp went through their collections and racked their brains to come up with their favorite blues albums of the last 1,000 years. Note: Five of the albums are the same on both lists. However, both lists were written independently without knowledge of the other's selections. We attribute the similarities to the fact that both men have spend numerous hours together listening to blues albums while drinking cold, malted beverages.

(By the way, don't bother sending us letters about how the new millennium actually started on Jan. 1, 2001. We realize this, but there's no sense in fighting the vast majority of the people who celebrated in 2000.)
