We received this letter describing a new variant for Knightmare Chess:
Dear SJ Games,
As a long standing fan of SJ Games I wanted to inform you of a combination we found at our local gaming club. We played 4-player Knightmare Chess with Sceptre 1027 A.D. from Horizon Games, Inc. Now, Sceptre is a 2-4 player chess game played over 2-4 chess boards. What makes things different is that these chess boards have terrain, from ruined castles to rivers, forests to bridges. Usually the boards are played to make a rectangle or square but sometimes they can be set up in irregular patterns. Pieces keep their old chess movements except that some terrain slows or prohibits certain pieces.

We now have a web page where we can accept Card Suggestions for Knightmare Chess. All ideas are welcome... thank you!

We are seriously considering a Knightmare Chess "supplement" that would also be a stand-alone set of 80 cards. Stay tuned!
