"The purpose of this association shall be to promote and help amateur competition in the junior and senior high schools of Arkansas, to foster a closer professional relationship among the coaches of Arkansas, and to work in an advisory capacity with the Arkansas Activities Association, the Arkansas Department of Education, and the Arkansas Officials Association."
