Executive Director
LANCE TAYLOR

First, let me say what an honor and pleasure it is to work for such a professional organization. The AAA will strive to continue to be a service and resource to help provide educational opportunities to the students in Arkansas. I am confident that the AAA can make a difference simply because of the outstanding staff working with the schools of our state. The most important thing that Don, Belle, Kathy, Joey, Wadie, Annette and I can do for you is being courteous, fair and consistent in our answers to you that come from studying the rules and regulations given to us by the member schools.

The staff, board, and membership of the AAA will miss Jimmy Coats, and we appreciate his tenure here. We wish Sandy and Jimmy happiness in their retirement.

We are very fortunate to have two new directors in position with experience and expertise to lead our association into the future. Dr. Joey Walter and Annette Savage are welcome assets to the AAA. Please call on them for any assistance you may need.

Dr. Mike McSpadden (Alma School District) has represented you well as president over the past year and has one more year as president. We welcome a new board member Carl Easley of Wynne, and we look forward to working with him. The AAA Board of Directors does an outstanding job of representing the schools of the state. It makes no difference what problems arise, the membership and Board of Directors have worked together to provide the best possible solutions.

I encourage you to call, write or come by anytime there is something we need to discuss or just to visit. This is your association. Let’s take care of it!
