Winston Churchill High School Wins the Play-Offs
- The U.S. Chess Center administers the high school league of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
- The regular season runs during the second quarter of school, from November through January. The play-offs are on the first Saturday of March.
- Each school plays seven matches during the regular season.
- Any high school in the metropolitan area may compete in the league.
- Registration for the season takes place at the Registration Tournaments.
