We are located in Suffolk, England however we ship world-wide!
 
Can I go to your store?
 
No, we are a mail order only gift shop. This keeps our overheads down and allows you to shop on-line 24 hours a day.
 
Do you have a catalogue?
 
We do not have a catalogue at this time as our website showcases everything we sell. Catalogues can be expensive and would affect the prices we charge for our gifts.
 
How do I contact you?
 
Most questions can be answered on this page.  Customers checking on the status of their account can ring us on (44)+ 01440 705617 (Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm). For other enquires please use the contact us button on the menu panel. 
 
Charitable Donations
 
While we can appreciate the hardwork and dedication that goes into fundraising for worthy charitable causes we cannot donate at this time. Tam's Treasures Online has 2 chosen charities that we support. The number of requests we get for donations makes it impossible to support all these worthy causes. And we cannot help one individual without helping all. We wish you luck with your fundraising efforts. We can offer discounts on large quantities of items purchased. This may give you a markup for your fundraising.
                    
What currency is listed on your site?
 
As we are in the UK our currency is listed as British Pound Sterling ( £ ).  If you are an international buyer you can use www.xe.com to get a current exchange rate.

How do I buy on-line?

  1. Enter the Store and select a category from the menu by clicking the category name. You'll be presented with a listing of all the available products, and/or sub-categories containing more products. You can also use the search box provided, by simply typing in the product you are looking for.
  2. To view the full details of a product from the listing, click the picture or the more information link.
  3. To add an item to your cart, click the Add to Basket link. You can add more than one item by changing the number in the quantity box before you click the link.
  4. Repeat the above steps until you've selected everything you need.
  5. You may view your cart contents at any time by clicking the View Your Basket link at the top of the screen. When viewing your basket you can change quantities of each item and delete items if you wish.
  6. To complete your order click the Proceed to Check Out link.
  7. Enter your address details and e-mail address.
  8. The next page will show your total for postage and packaging. If you are purchasing a gift certificate on it's own please use the drop down button for free postage as it is sent to you by e-mail.  
  9. Finally, you will be directed to the payment page. If you are making an instant payment by paypal or credit card click on the Buy It Now button which shows credit card logos.
  10. If you are mailing your payment, click on the payment by post button. A confirmation letter will be sent to your e-mail address when the transaction is finished. Please send your payment within 7 days or your order will be voided. 
Why is a product no longer showing up on your site?
 
Occassionally products will temporarily sell out or no longer be available. Our system has the number of each item we have in stock. When an item is purchased it subtracts from our system. When the last item is purchased the system will automatically remove the picture of this product. 
 
It is important if you are paying by cheque or postal order that you notify us immediately if you no longer wish to purchase this product. This is so we can adjust our inventory numbers accordingly.
 
What are the shipping costs ?
 
We have now introduced flat rate payments for the UK only. Orders over £5.00 are sent First Class recorded delivery. Someone will need to be in to sign for your order.
 
For orders under £4.99 it's best to order up to the £4.99 to make the postage more cost effective.
  • Orders up to £4.99 are £1.50
  • Orders £5.00 up to £9.99 are £2.95
  • Orders £10.00 up to £32.00 are £3.95
  • Orders £33 up to £99.00 are £4.95
  • Orders over £100 are Free
 
Countries outside the United Kingdom are charged based on the item's weight.
 
What payment  payment methods do you accept?
 
We accept payments by the following methods:
  • Personal cheques drawn on UK banks in British Pound Sterling, Postal orders all made payable to: Tam's Treasures Online
  • BACS (Bank to Bank wire transfer) - Please use the payment by post button at check-out so that we receive your order. Then use the contact button to let us know you are paying by BACS. We will then e-mail you our banking details. 
Is my payment secure?
 
Yes, we use Paypal to process your credit card payments. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). 
 
You will not see the lock logo on the bottom of your page which indicates your page is secure until you get to the PayPal information page. You do not need a PayPal account to place an order by credit card through the PayPal system.
 
 
Can I pay by BACS ?
 
Yes, at the payment options section of your transaction click on the Send Payment By Post.  This will send your order to us, as well as send a confirmation to you. Use the Contact Us button to notify us that you are sending your payment by BACS (bank to bank transfer), and request banking details.
 
Why do t-shirts have to be ordered?
 
The Mountain t-shirts have now over 1,000 designs and styles. Rather than spending a lot of unnecessary money to stock all designs that may or may not be purchased; money can be freed up to use on importing other wonderful gifts and products for you. 
 
T-shirts held by our UK distributor are generally dispatched by us within 5-7 working days (holidays and weekends excluded). T-shirts not held by our UK distributor (t-shirts marked SPECIAL ORDER ONLY) must be ordered from the US. Please allow 7-14 working days for dispatch.
 
We place our t-shirt orders with our UK distributor twice a week and Special Order Only t-shirts are placed once a week on a Tuesday. This is because our UK distributor makes their weekly order with the US on Wednesdays. If you have ordered a Special Order Only t-shirt after Tuesday it will not be ordered until the following Tuesday. 
 
When can I expect my order?
  
In stock items are usually dispatched 24-48 hours of receiving your cleared funds. Most of our products are in stock with the exception of t-shirts.  Occasionally an item will sell out but still show as available on the site. This is because it's a stock item we can get from the manufacturer generally within 48 hours.
 
If delivery for your purchase (excluding t-shirts) is going to be more than 7 business days, we will contact you. This excludes weekends and holidays.
 
International orders are sent by Air Mail, please allow 5-7 business days, provided your item doesn't get delayed in customs.
 
See above regarding delivery and dispatch time for t-shirts. 
 
** Estimated delivery times are provided by Royal Mail. We are not responsible for delivery delays. Please take into account weekends, bank holidays, and destination particularly during peak periods.
 
Can I return my order?
 
Should items prove faulty or be damaged in transit, please notify us by email . The e-mail address is located on the bottom of your paid invoice, included in your order.
 
Please describe what the problem is and we will quickly advise you what to do. We always endeavour to put things right as quickly as possible. That is why we find it best to contact us first rather than returning the goods straight to us. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. With damaged goods you will not be liable for any return postage etc.

 
Should an item not be as you imagined it, please return it to us in the same condition that you received it, well packaged for the journey, within 7 days for a full refund. When returning unwanted goods, please note that we will not normally refund the return postage costs. Returns not returned in their original packaging, or in damaged packaging due to the buyer which may affect it's retail value will be refunded minus 10%.
 
 
Do you sell wholesale?
 
Unfortunately, we do not sell wholesale at this time. However, we will offer discounts on large quantities ordered. Example: 20 long handled scrub brushes for a health spa, or 15 keyrings for a child's party.  Please contact us prior to making your purchase.
