g man 0550: The Marshall is without a doubt an annoying system to face if one doesn't know the theory (which is extensive going out to move 30 or so.), Blacks attack occurs on the weak white squares so the way to deal with that is rid black of his light square bishop with 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6
