Back in Connecticut one last time. The opera that I opened last week played twice at the first venue (yes, only twice) and has now moved to its second venue. We managed to get the set reassembled and in place with some minor alterations in just under 6 hours. Tomorrow I'll tech it in the new space, and then its back to the city and back to my regular life for a while. Getting back to this sorrt of lifestyle has been fun, if tiring. John McCain told FOX News this morning that he'd consider 'suspending' his campaign again if necessary to save the economy. Considering what happened in Congress and on Wall Street yesterday, the U.S. needs a saviour named John McCain like it needs another eight years of Bush.
Says McCain: "I will do whatever is necessary. I just did it. In case you missed it. Heh, heh. I'm sure you didn't. I will do whatever is necessary to get this going again."
