You can share your Smurf pics, mp3 & wav music files, clipart and more with the whole world for free! How do I upload my smurfy picture? Click "New Topic" in the Smurf Boards to start a new message. Create a New Topic Next, click on "Smurf Picture & File Upload". Smurf Picture & File Upload Click the "Browse" button to find the picture on your computer you want to upload. Click Browse & Find Your File Your file is now ready to upload. Click the "Upload" button. Click Upload Button You've done it! Your file is now safely stored on the BlueBuddies.com server. Success! The Smurfs will return after these messages: How do I place a picture in my message? Once you've uploaded your picture to BlueBuddies.com, displaying it in a message is really easy! Simply place [img] and [/img] "tags" around the file location (if you've forgotten the location of your file, fear not, just use the Upload Manager to find it). For example, if your file is located at: http://bluebuddies.com/Smurf_Picture_and_Files/00000001/BlueBuddies.gif simply add the [img] and [/img] tags and place the whole thing into your message. How do I delete files? What is the Upload Manager? Want to see a listing of all the files you've uploaded (and their location)? Want to delete some of them? Well, the Upload Manager will do all of this. First, if necessary, create a new message and click on "Smurf Picture & File Upload". Smurf Picture & File Upload Click the "Upload Manager" button. Upload Manager You'll now see a listing of all your files. Click the filename to view the picture in your web browser. Don't forget to copy and paste the file location if you want to use it in a message! View the File To delete a file, click the "checkbox" next to the filename. Feel free to check as many boxes as necessary - you can delete multiple files at once. Click the "Delete Files" button to erase the selected files. Deletion How do I upload non-picture files? Upload non-picture files in exactly the same way as pictures! We told you it was easy! How many files can I store? If you have "Smurf" status on our shared community message boards, you can store up to two hundred files! A "Smurf" is someone who has posted at least 20 messages or replies. Newbies need not worry though - "Smurflings" (users who have made less than 20 posts) can still store up to fifty files, and that's nothing to smurf at! What kind of files can I upload? Feel free to upload Smurf related pictures and files. Just make sure they're family friendly & legal. Users who abuse their upload privileges will have them revoked. The filename extensions our upload servers support are: .zip, .txt, .tar, .png, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .wmv, .wav, .wma and .mp3.
