August 10, 2007: The First Munchkin Quest
So . . . Thursday night we had our very first playtest of Munchkin Quest. Fun was had. The next draft will be smoother. Right now, the low-level monsters are perhaps a bit too tough. In the meantime, it was fun to see Richard fight a Potted Plant and lose, and to watch the deadly combo of the Fungus and the Psycho Squirrel chase Loren the Wizard across the dungeon. We called it quits at 9, when the highest player was Level 6; with a Bullrog camped on the entrance tile, it was . . .
