Microsoft Issues Recall on Xbox Power Cords

Don't leave that Xbox unattended for too long.
Microsoft is offering a free replacement power cord to any Xbox owner with a unit that was shipped before October 23rd, 2003 for all regions except Continental Europe. Xbox's in Europe made before January 13, 2004 are also potentially at risk.
The chances of your Xbox being a potential fire hazard are less than one in 10,000. But as a precautionary measure, or as a means of getting an extra power cord, just visit Xbox.com's replacement program to see if you qualify and get one sent free to your doorstep.
