Description:
GeoDB is a database for storing Earth locations -- latitude/longitude/etc.
Store your favorite locations in GeoDB and it is a trivial task to import the information into Earth&Sun;, GeoMagnetic Info, and Rise Set.
It also provides the computation of Daylight Time when alocation is imported.
GeoDB may be used by other Palm application authors who wish to take advantage of a high precision location database.

GeoDB Version 1.1 is a substantial update that includes:
- Commands to create and manipulatemultiple databases.
- Data for 740+ locations is included.

A nice program, but the european table includes not only european cities.

Loaded on an SD card with the large set of data bases, it runs but doesn't see the data bases. Run from main memory, it works as advertised. Interestingly, if it is present in both main memory and on the SD card, it can be run from the SD card and it sees the data bases. Probably this is a major clue to the problem. Perhaps the databases can live on the SD card. It isn't clear to me whether the associated Great Circle calculator program uses a spherical earth, or the reference ellipsoid. So, I use the other Great Circle calculator (Navgate). Unfortunately, Navigate can't use the databases ... or at least not directly.
