I like this product I use it, along with other tools, to cross the Columbia River bar. I do have a question, which is why there are no Columbia River locations when I choose current rather than tide. Anyone know? Reply to David.King@PhoebusGroup.com

Using this software we were able to predict nearly to the minute the time that we would refloat after running aground in the dark.

This is great. Useful for fishermen and surfers who don't want to go online or thumb through those little tide chart books to see what the tide is going to do that day. The lunar and solar alamanacs are especially useful for the traveler as well. Thanks for making this.

I like tidepooling, beach and coastal photography, and just walking on the beach. Having the local tide information always at hand allows for the spontanious trip to the beach and has really added to my quality of life and adventure. thank you

A wonderful tool for anyone who enjoys the water. Accurate and intuitive.

Better and easier than looking throught the newspaper to figure out when the best time to go diving is.

This program is great for letting us know when the tides are due (not to mention sunrise & sunset) in Coastal Louisiana. I also love the graphics, especially for the Bay of Fundy region!

Awesome! tool, and very accurate to within a few minutes in the New York, Long Island, New Jersey area.

Your tool is fantastic, and is the "ONLY" accurate table at the first of the year when local books aren't available, and the newspaper seems to print last year's info. Way to go!!!

If you really need accurate tidal forecasts, or you're like me and use it maybe once a month, this is a great program. Accurate, easy to use, and only 150k with a single site loaded, this program is great.

At a glance knowing the tide level makes it easy to load and/or unload my boat at the marina. Also knowing the sun rise and setting time is great for my business.

I'm in the film industry and this program is a huge bonus when planning shoots. I get accurate information on Sunrise & Set and the tides for the various areas we work in. Hugely recommended to every Palm user.

Sailing the coastal waters from Zierikzee, Holland, this is a very useful tool. Only very minor differences compared to the official Dutch tables and graphs. Accurate enough if you want to keep at least one meter of water under your keel. It is a pity there is no information for UK waters. Will information on currents become available at a later date ?

Dear Walt, I live in Vlissingen near the River Scheldt and walks a lot with my dogs on the beach. The tide is very important, because if the tide is high, You can't walk there. It is very accurate, but there is a different Sealevel. Your's is at 0 meters, but ours is at NAP, which means that there is a difference of 2.30 m. I have to calculate the NAP level. So your 4.80 meters is 2.50 + and your 0,60 cm is 1.70 -. I would be glad if it was possible to adjust the sealevel to a local level. I would relie on it while sailing. Thanks for avoiding a lot of tables, every year again.

I manage a boatyard and will confirm that this program is as good a tide program as there is available, regardless of operating systems. Tide calenders are based on logrythmic calculations, and will surely vary to some extent withgeographic anolomalies. One thing that will not vary is the relative heighth of the tide from one day to the next. An earlier review said "not good enough for sailing". Well, this program is as good as any not cross checked at a very specific location to account for local differentiation (most are not).

I've been using this nifty app for the past several months to determine when to drag my small boat out to the launch ramp on the Washington coast. I'm getting ready to launch while vessels that missed the channel by a couple of feet are grounded, waiting for the rising tide. This one is a dandy and a must-have for any coastal boat owner.

Why the date of moon phases for Hong Kong are not the same date as that indicated by the Hong Kong government's??

***** [Apr 4, 2002] by Ct Lee
This program is very good and easy to use. If the newer version included the sun/moon geomatric angle, it is superb! The zone dbase can be smaller by scale down to less country, which is quite important to less RAM Palm (2MB).

Well writen program but it is not precise enough for sailing. That´s what I can tell you for the european seas.

This program is awsome. If you travel to a coast and wonder when the tides are in/out, locals don't care, this is ideal for beachcombers. Sunrise/sunset information, with hour of daylight is also useful for tourists. The graphic display of tide chart is also pretty cool. Highly recomended.

I will need an update for the years after 2031 !!!!!

A truly elegant application that works great on my Palm m505.

Great program for the palm.

Excellent! The graphs are great. Data seems to be accurate. Figures out sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset, and moon phases as well. Worth a look even if you don't care about tides. Highly recommended.

Very Cool! The tide graphic looks great. Thanks!

A little jewel. Wouldn't go to a coast without it!
