Description:
Titrax is a time management / measurement / planning tool which helps you to keep track of the amount of time spent on various projects.
With a click on a button, you can start and stop tracking projects - Titrax remembers the amount of time you've worked on each project, and the total time worked to date. It also includes a fully integrated datebook feature, which automatically makes datebook appointments for the time periods you are working on your projects.
You can save Titrax's data in the memopad or as an undated appointment for later perusal. It's perfect for consultants who need to know when they worked on various projects, as well as anyone else who wants to know where their time goes during the day.
New changes since the last major release make Titrax faster, easier to use, and offer a wider array of user options - including ordering of projects by drag-and-drop, auto-centering of the active project, scrollbars, support for the Menu Hack, CSV functionality in the saved memos (easier to import into a spreadsheet!) and much more!
The new stable version is 4.0.
Titrax now has a sophisticated manual in PDF-format, documenting the usage and all important features.
Update Description:
v4.09 (31/12/04):
- Fixed some minor bugs.
- Changed for the new web site and email address.

Great tool! I use it consistently. Tracking billiable hours is very important and this tool does it easily. My only recommendation is being able to aut sort alphanumerically.

Works as described. If you need to enter lump sum hours at your own convenience, this is not for you. But as a "punch the time clock" application, very good.

This app is perfect for me, an independent IT consultant whose Palm is umbilically attached. I can hardly believe how well this app matches the way I track and bill hours. The only downside is that I had to read the manual before I understood the interface, which is optimized for speed of use.

Titrax is awesome, during the construction of my dads house, titrax became my time card. I was amazed at the accuracy of it and how easy it was to operate. I would simply select my rough end category and start it and at then end of the week everything was in my datebook, simple and to the point.

I evaluated a few applications of this type. Titrax works as advertised. It has extensive documentation, and it's open source, so you can use it anywhere for any purpose. A real business tool. Check the authors site for the latest version. The only additional feature I'd ask for is the ability to alphanumeric sort projects automatically by a menu option.

Titrax is awesome. If you have to keep track of the time you spend on multiple projects, or on where your time goes, then Titrax is for you. I've been using it every day for months. It's easy to use, too.
