I switched from a Psion 3mx to a Zire 71 but found the lack of a DOC reader inexcusable. The 71 ended up in a drawer. Since finding this program the 71 has found a new lease of life. I have found the software very solid and bug free. My thanks to Mizotec.

Ahhh, finaly a FREE Ebook Writer! Simple, everything you need and no useless gizmos. Works fast on my Visor Pro.

ZDocM works fine for me, although it's a little slow (but everything is slow on my old palm). Version 0.6a fixed a memory boundary bug that I suspect the other reviewer encountered, although I never did.

The present name is "ZDOCm." Is " ZDOC" original ZDOC or old ZDOCm? Old ZDOC/ZDOCm is active. Please check a version. Probably, it will be better to delete an old thing. Please try the present version.

I've been using Palm OS devices for over 2 years and this is the first program that has EVER crashed my Visor Platinum. I suspect it's pure hackware from the annoying invisible space before the title (the REAL name of this program is " ZDOC") that puts it at the top of every list to the fact that it refuses to run properly. Thank goodness the editing features don't work either as I'm sure they would only corrupt existing documents. " ZDOC" may have some great features, but they don't count for squat if the darned program won't run. As it stands, " ZDOC" is worse than worthless. It won't view DOC files, it won't modify DOC files and using it risks damage to your existing DOC files.
