Description:
This is a Palm version of the card game Pitch, also known as Setback.
Four players (one human, three computer players) in two teams play the game.
The game involves bidding and attempting to win up to four points - highest trump card played, lowest trump, jack, and the total number of "game" points.
If you don''t make your bid, you get "set back" that number of points.
First team to 21 wins, but only if they made a bid to get to 21.
Lots of fun and enjoyment!
Update Description:
Version 1.5:
- A few UI improvements and AI tweaks.

The program worked fine on my PDA, but I noticed a bug in the scoring. Whenever I played the low trump card, the other team got credit for it. I could never count on the points for low trump.

Loved playing it although there were a few problems. I was not able to change the names of the players and it kept crashing my Handspring visor, until I had to delete it.

Works great for me on my m125. I almost didn't download it, now I'm glad I did. Pitch is a simple game to learn yet it's highly strategic and a load of fun. After a few games you learn to cover your partner or feed him points while trying to snag points from your opponents or sneak the low card by them. I enjoy it much more than hearts or spades. I'm not running any boosters or accelerators on my Palm so maybe that's why it works for me.
My only gripe is minor; You have to pay attention on the last hand to see what cards were played because it proceeds very quickly to the final scoring screen. Kudos to the author for bringing Pitch to the PDA! It's a definite keeper and my new favorite card game. Well done!

I love the game Pitch and was excited to play -- but the game crashed on my m130 every time I was the high bidder and had to toss down my first card.
