Description:
ShootStraight is a small program that helps people who are playing the Shadowrun roleplaying game to calculate the target number in ranged combat while taking into consideration nearly any possible situation modifier [and still leaves room to manually enter those impossible ones]. ;-)
I made it because in our gaming group, I always have a hard time calculating the target number ["Okay, let's see, it's short range, that is 4, you've got Smartlink, that's minus 2, plus 2 because you target is running, now you're shooting a burst, that is another plus 3 [or 2 after german rules] - did I already calculate in the Smartlink...?"]
Since I do not want to slow down gameplay, especially not in combat, I decided to write an app for my new Palm, and here it is!
Update Description:
Included a 'Set-to-Zero-Button', which I found to be really essential after some game testing.
Fixed a bug that caused a wrong movement modifier to be calculated after a gyro was first selected and then deselected.
