Especially when testing a lot of hacks and new programs I get these dialogs rather often.

Many times I can´t tap on the "Reset" button but have to do a paper-clip reset, which is very annoying if you have to do this more than once in a while.

Now "Crash" does this work for you.
It does prevent your Palm from displaying the dialog but displays its own screen which hopefully looks somewhat better.

After some seconds "Crash" will make a reset. So in case of a crash of your Palm, you just have to wait some seconds and can continue to work withouthaving to poke your Palm in the back.

This is especially useful for users who have their Palm in a case and don't want to take it out everytime it crashes.

Its been a while after i wrote my last review and I have to say that I definiatly changed my mind. I now own a t-c of which I am currenty writing this review on(sorry in advance for the spelling errors) and I have deffinitly changed my mind about crash. As you may or may not know, the web browser that come with the T-c is VERY buggy and thus generates a lot of crashes. Now I feel that crash is a valuable asset to me. Only one thing, I wish that you could customiz the icon without having to buy the pro version as it is relletively simple to do. Anyways, thanks for a great piece of freeware:)

It's a great program! I love it! I use it on my Zire 71, and it's saved the day many days. Also, when a program loading off the card crashes, Crash just makes it quit back to the Launcher screen! Cool! Thanks for such a great program!

This program does just what it says, it crashes your palm. I use a visor delux and just after I INSTALLED crash I got a fatal exeption. As always I tried the reset icon and it did NOT work. I then had to hard reset my Palm and then something weird happened. When I was on the home screen a ringing started to occur and my palm totaly locked up. I was THEN forced to do another HARD RESET and I lost ALL of my data! This program may work for some but beware! INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK

My M500 had a "fatal exception" so many times I quit using it. A friend told me about "Crash". I figured I might as well try it since I couldn't use my palm any way. IT WORKS!!! Now I am using my Palm every day and haven't lost any data. Quite often the crash reset screen pops up but then I can continue with my work. Thanks to the author for a great program.

Not a bad idea, but I've encountered a crash, that 'Crash' tries to catch, and ends up corrupting data. Only way out was a hard reset. I was using SilverScreen III, and selecting a new font from fontbucket, chose one that bugged out. The rest, is history. Caused a fatal crash, screen went blank, and upon reset, constantly flashed the Palm logo screen, and required a hard reset. Previous to Crash, if I chose a buggy font, it would crash my palm, but nothing was lost. ** Use at your own risk **

Doesn't always work. My palm still requires me to sometimes poke it in the back or push reset on the screen after a fatal error even though crash is enabled. When it does work though, it's wonderfully helpful.

This is a good app, that you should install even by friends that dont know much about palm, hacks and resets. It is that selfworking, that it makes life easier even for people dont think much about the technical background and they wont be unsettled by pressing "mysterious" reset buttons! You´ll never get these "There is only on button on the screen saying "reset" what should I do without harming my palm?" phonecalls :).

Well, I installed this program so that it would reset my palm in 10 seconds if an error like that had happened. I installed it, and it made hackmaster give a fatal error...and i couldnt hit the reset button!
