Description:
Khroma is a simple program which allows interactive selection of colors for the PalmOS user interface.
Features:
- Color selection with a unique popup color picker or the Palm's native pickers.
- A database of over 35 preset schemes is included all of which may be customized.
- Full database support with open, save, save as , revert and delete functions.
- Export, import and beam schemes via the familiar memo database.
- Use the Auto Scheme feature to jump-start creation of your own schemes.
- Get rid of those pesky opaque icon backgrounds with the built in icon transparency editor.
- Check and set your screen's depth settings.

- Better compatability with PalmOS 5.2/5.3: The icon transparency editor was rewritten to fix crashes while editing high density bitmaps.
- List drawing bugs in the Export/Import dialogs have been fixed.
- Auto scheme slider thumbs adjust themselves when the slider is set to auto..

EXCELLENT ON T3! Program I used previously was super, but glitched badly on Tungsten T3. NOT THIS ONE! Perfect bright colors, easily configurable database of my own preferences; in case of soft reset just go into the program and select your scheme again. You can even import and export from Memo Pad your settings! Excellent program - what a difference in readability. Hint: make the claret (cursor) bright red to show up in text; also make alert box frames RED and the Hiliter either Teal or Lavender -- shows up much better than the yellow. Fantastic product; thanks Bela!!

Sorry to burst the bubble but whatever you do, do not delete the program without restoring the usual system colours. If you dont, it will wreak havok with hotsync as it will change the colours repeatedly. Otherwise, take that advice and its a 5star. WELL WORTH DOWNLOADING!!!

This is the Best thing on my Palm. I have a m130 (the first color ed.) and it's beautiful. Really brings your Palm to life. I'm amazed it's FREE!!

Excellent program! makes my 3.53 Vx look like a 4.1! Word of caution though, install it properly, and disable hacks before configuring. It HARD RESET my palm!

This is by far the coolest Palm customization program out there, and totally free! I've had v1.1 forever, but I just found v2.1, so the good just keeps getting better! (works fine on my Sony SJ30 w/FastCPU and X-Master).

This is undoubtedly the best of the best of all applications ever made for a Palm based system. Works wonders on my Tungsten T, its absolutely amazing to see the way people want to glue themselves to my Tungsten when they see the color variances. Great job by Bela. Two thumbs up. This is a must have!

This program is cool, but messes up the colors with some simple games. It would be cooler if it didn't do that, but nothing's perfect.

A must have for any palm user who works in different times of day, different apps with different colour requirements... well.. if you use your palm for anything you can use Khroma! I've gotten responses like "wow, it's got a blue/orange background!", which just tell you it's special. The default settings are pretty varied, and you can easily make new ones. Some programs may not like colour changes, but with a few quick taps you can change the entire scheme. Palm should really think about integrating this into their OS, or adding it as an app.

This program is AWESOME! I love being able to change the color of text, etc, on my IIIc. Currently I have the background set to a light blue, and its cool because depending on the angle your looking at the screen at, varys the color of the blue, so I call it Sky Blue. I couldn't do this without Khroma! THANKS!

I had a fast try on the emulator and it works very well. This evening I'll try it on Palm. But just the idea to make text lines light gray instead of nag black makes this program really great! Compliments :]
