Description:
Kiosk is a hack/DA combination that allows you to lock your Palm to a single application.
This is useful if you want to loan your Palm to someone for a specific purpose; e.g. a child playing a game or a co-worker to use the calculator.
Update Description:
- Can now use Palm system password as well as local one
- Disable beam receive when locked
- Switching now completely blocked (no relaunch), minor bugfixes

I downloaded and installed this without any problems. It seems to work fine and besides the security aspect, I've found at least one additional useful thing to use it for already. When I lock the calculator app when doing some calculations, I don't get bumped out when I go too long between inputs. Just hit any key and back I am. Really handy. Very Nice.

Ignore my last comment, after reading the manuel thoroughly, I found that I needed another program, works great! :)

Seems like a good idea for a program, but it doesn't work on my Palm IIIxe(OS 3.5.3), it shows up on X-master but i dont see it locking anything

This is a brilliant implementation: the HACK part is concise, so it's very stable and causes no performance loss at all (tested by PalmInternals under SJ22 w/YAHM & EasyLaunch), and the DA could be launched as you wish to lock (for example, when giving your palm to a friend as a calculator, for a game, or to view images, etc...) If your friend tries to exit the current locked application, he won't be greeted with confusing password screens - instead, the current application will simply re-launch itself; to unlock, you specifically bring the DA again, and only THEN a password is requested :) The author is very kind and responsive, and added my requested feature within a day! - Thank you so much for this flawless freeware.
